    Dear @Aulakh, Sam,

    I hope this message finds you well. I am pleased to inform you that the issue you reported concerning the XStore Live Paste feature has been successfully resolved. The necessary modifications were made in the plugins/et-core-plugin/app/controllers/elementor.php file on your website. You can view the changes here: (https://prnt.sc/I4hKuBfFFlJi). All changes will be included in next theme update.

    Regarding your inquiry about the Calculation Shipping feature on the Cart page, please note that this functionality is managed through WooCommerce. It can be activated or deactivated by navigating to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Shipping -> Shipping Settings. Dear @PJone,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Customer feedback is paramount to us, and we have taken note of the requests regarding the old header builder. As a result, we have made the decision to retain it permanently. Additionally, we have introduced the option to disable the header [https://prnt.sc/AizHXgZ8jVJ0] providing users with greater flexibility.

    Understanding the varying preferences of our clientele, we have developed a new builder on Elementor, which has garnered significant interest. This allows users to select the header builder that best aligns with their needs and preferences.

    Regarding your inquiry about customizing the Elementor header, we acknowledge the complexity of your request. Elementor operates on a different structural framework compared to our builder customizer. However, rest assured, we are exploring solutions to address this issue.

    Your feedback is invaluable in our continuous efforts to enhance our services. Should you have any further questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us.

    Warm regards,
    Jack Richardson

    Dear @ZEPHYR,

    We recommend that you activate the option and verify whether the headers function as expected with your cache plugin active. Each cache plugin operates differently; it is possible that your plugin may not recognize the ‘wp_is_mobile’ function, or alternatively, this function might need to be added to the exclusions for caching. We advise you to consult the support team for your cache plugin or refer to their documentation for more detailed guidance in case the work with Mobile optimization option will not work as needed with cache active.

    Should the above step not resolve the issue, we are prepared to offer an alternative solution that will definitively address your concern. You could consider reconstructing the old header using Elementor, setting it to display only on a specific page (such as ‘About Us’) while you make modifications. Once adjustments are complete, you can apply these conditions site-wide and deactivate the old Customizer header.

    Also, as an option you can simply deactivate mini-content for your Account element in Customizer header. In such case you will have only text+icon in header and on click the customer will be redirected directly to ‘My Account’ page for login/register.

    Unfortunately, there are no other solutions available. Please make your decision based on the options provided above.

    Best regards,

    Dear @Aulakh, Sam

    We hope this message finds you well.

    We acknowledge your concerns regarding the disabling of the ‘XStore live paste’ feature. Please be assured that our team is actively working on addressing this issue. We anticipate incorporating a resolution in the forthcoming theme update. Alternatively, if you provide us with the correct FTP and wp-admin access, we can expedite the process by directly implementing a fix on your website.

    Furthermore, we are considering an enhancement that would allow the activation or deactivation of XStudio from the theme options, which would simultaneously control the XStore live paste functionality. If you choose to disable XStudio, the XStore live paste will also be deactivated accordingly. We would appreciate your feedback on whether this proposed solution meets your needs.

    Regarding the text on single products that display the XStore label, we plan to include a fix in the next update. However, we can also address this issue promptly if you provide the necessary access as mentioned earlier.

    We value your cooperation and look forward to your confirmation on how you wish to proceed. Thank you for your attention to these matters.

    Dear @Daniel,

    I hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out to request your assistance with a matter concerning the WP Toolkit security issues you encountered.

    Could you kindly provide screenshots of the security issues reported by WP Toolkit? Our analysis indicates that the WP Toolkit validator relies on data from https://patchstack.com/. It is possible that WP Toolkit may require a few days to refresh its information database, as we have already submitted an archive containing all necessary fixes to Patchstack, which they have approved. Each issue previously identified by Patchstack now displays a success mark, as shown here: https://prnt.sc/vPO8KE6pYZAO.

    If it is convenient for you, we would greatly appreciate it if you could contact WP Toolkit support through your server and request them to re-evaluate the security of our XStore theme.

    Thank you for your attention to this matter and for your cooperation. We look forward to your prompt response.

    Hello @Marco A Jimenez,

    I hope this message finds you well.

    I am writing to inform you about the current setup of the product categories display in our mobile menu, which utilizes an instance of the WooCommerce Product Categories widget. This is the same code that is used for the sidebar widget display, albeit with custom options tailored for the widget. You can view these settings here: https://prnt.sc/4DbzJldrDZ7c. This setup should ensure correct display functionality, and any issues pertaining to its content are directly related to the WooCommerce widget code.

    To further investigate, we replicated the header widget settings in the sidebar categories widget to compare functionality. We adjusted the category order to the default settings for the WooCommerce Product Categories widgets, as shown here: https://prnt.sc/P-1MzHoUh532. Unfortunately, we observed that the widget also displayed incorrectly on the frontend, as evidenced here: https://prnt.sc/b7t6paGiSXRq. Given that the default widget with “category order” displayed incorrectly, we have reverted to the previous order by “Name” for the sidebar product categories widget. Additionally, we have implemented the following tweak in your child-theme/functions.php to apply the same “Name” order in your mobile menu header element:

    add_filter('etheme_elementor_mobile_menu_categories_args', function($args) {
        $args['orderby'] = 'name';
        return $args;
    });

    You can view the result here: https://prnt.sc/yxNgw6JHU6fK.

    Please review the changes at your convenience and let us know if the solution meets your requirements.

    Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your feedback.

    Dear @ZEPHYR,

    We have thoroughly reviewed the warnings present on your website and identified potential solutions to address the issue of duplicate input IDs. Below are two options for your consideration:

    1. Utilize the Mobile Optimization Feature:
    Since you are currently using our XStore header builder from the Customizer, we can recommend to activate the mobile optimization option available here: [Mobile Optimization Settings](https://prnt.sc/wf6PNxpJsPGu). This feature optimizes header content loading based on the device type detected by the WordPress function wp_is_mobile() [https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/wp_is_mobile/]. When activated, it ensures that only the mobile header is loaded on mobile devices and only the desktop header on desktops, thereby preventing the duplication of account, cart, wishlist, and compare elements across Mobile and Desktop headers.

    2. Transition to an Elementor-Based Header:
    Alternatively, we suggest migrating your Customizer header to an Elementor-based header, which offers enhanced flexibility and features. We recently updated our XStore Theme to include new XStore Builders for various builders including Header, Footer, Product Archives, and Single Product. For detailed guidance, please view our tutorial here: [XStore Elementor Builder Tutorial](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZExw_HXgu0&ab_channel=8THEME) and consult the documentation here: [XStore Elementor Documentation](https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-builders/new-xstore-header-builder-with-elementor/). Note: once you decide to use new Header builder based on Elementor builder you should deactivate [https://prnt.sc/P4L9uDj6Z0_S] the old one for better speed optimizations.

    We hope that one of these solutions will effectively resolve the issues you are experiencing. Should you require further assistance or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Dear @Jimie,

    I hope this message finds you well.

    As you may be aware, we strongly advise against making modifications directly to the parent XStore theme files or the XStore Core files. Any changes made in these files will be overwritten during subsequent updates.

    Could you please specify the modifications you wish to implement? If your request introduces a valuable feature, we might consider adding it as a separate option for the Menu element.

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer that specific file to your child theme to make changes. Alternatively, you could attempt to create your own widget in your child theme using the same PHP class name you intend to modify. Please note, however, that this would constitute additional customization and falls outside the scope of our standard support.

    We look forward to your response.

    Dear @Arnan,

    Thank you for providing detailed steps to reproduce the issue you encountered. We observed that when dragging the slider to its maximum value at this link: https://prnt.sc/JV50rW5fQhwV, the maximum allowable value is 800. However, you indicated a preference for a maximum value of 1000, which exceeds the current limit.

    Our system is designed to restrict input values beyond the specified parameters to prevent errors. As demonstrated here: https://prnt.sc/RlUxTDIIzsAR, any value below 800 is accepted and saved correctly.

    We understand that you might prefer a maximum height of 1000 for the tab content in your Single Product layout, particularly if you are designing on a large monitor. However, it is important to consider that many users will access these pages on smaller screens, where a maximum height of 1000 might not be practical as it could occupy twice the height of their displays. This consideration is why we have set the maximum height limit at 800.

    If your intention is to provide users with an unrestricted view of each tab without a maximum height limit, you have the option to disable the height limitation by following this link: https://prnt.sc/i9KiFPYUlzZF.

    Should you still require a maximum height of 1000 or greater, you can achieve this by adding the following CSS code in the Theme Options under Theme Custom CSS -> Global CSS:

    .et_product-block .tabs-with-scroll .wc-tab {
        max-height: 2000px;
    }

    We would appreciate your feedback on this proposed solution. Please let us know how you wish to proceed.

    Dear @Aulakh, Sam,

    Thank you for providing details regarding the Google Map warnings. We have identified that these warnings stem from the Google Map Elementor widget utilized in your website’s footer area. Please be assured that these warnings are not critical and may be disregarded at this time.

    We have forwarded your concerns to our development team. They will investigate the possibility of migrating the Google Map script and aim to address these warnings in an upcoming update.

    Thank you for your understanding and patience.

    Dear @Lavish hk,

    I hope this message finds you well.

    Upon reviewing your concerns regarding the inability to edit pages using Elementor, we have conducted a thorough investigation. During our checks, we encountered consistent JavaScript errors in the console across different scenarios.

    To determine whether the issue was specific to our theme, we activated the default WordPress theme, Twenty Twenty-Four, and observed the same errors when attempting to edit the Home page. You can view the errors here: https://prnt.sc/v8Qbh-ovw8cs.

    This analysis suggests that the difficulties you are experiencing are likely due to your server configuration, rather than an issue with our XStore Theme. It is possible that certain URLs may need to be whitelisted on your server, which currently prevent Elementor scripts from loading properly.

    We recommend reaching out to your hosting provider to address this issue, as it appears to be related to server settings and is replicable with any theme installed on your website.

    Thank you for your attention to this matter. Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Dear @khurram virk,

    We have reviewed the issues you are experiencing with your WordPress setup and have determined that they are related to configuration or compatibility issues rather than being directly caused by the XStore theme. Below, we provide a detailed breakdown of each issue and suggest steps to resolve them:

    1. **REST API Error**:
    The error message indicates a permissions issue when attempting to edit posts via the REST API, specifically stating, “Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts in this post type.” This likely stems from a misconfiguration of user roles or permissions within your WordPress settings.

    2. **Database Error Related to Comments**:
    The encountered database error involves a missing column in a query, specifically the post_type column in the wp_{unique_db_name}_posts table. This issue could arise from a plugin conflict, database corruption, or an incomplete migration process.

    It is important to note that these issues appear to be systemic within your WordPress installation and may be influenced by plugins, customizations, or the migration process rather than the XStore theme itself.

    To address these issues, we recommend the following steps:

    – **For the REST API Error**:
    – Review and adjust the user roles and permissions within WordPress to ensure appropriate access.
    – Check for any plugins or custom code that may interfere with REST API functionality.
    – Confirm that REST API endpoints are correctly configured and accessible.

    – **For the Database Error Related to Comments**:
    – Review any recent changes to your WordPress installation, such as updates or new plugin installations, that might have altered the database schema.
    – Verify the existence and proper configuration of the database tables and columns referenced in the error message.
    – Temporarily disable plugins to identify any potential conflicts with database queries.

    We hope these steps help you resolve the issues. Should you require further assistance or encounter additional difficulties, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Dear @Marco A Jimenez,

    I hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out to kindly request your assistance with two technical matters that are currently impacting our operational efficiency.

    Firstly, we would appreciate it if you could either disable the existing IP restriction or alternatively authorize access for users in Ukraine to the site. This adjustment is crucial for continuing our services without interruption.

    Secondly, we require FTP access to be set up and secured. We ask that you ensure the connection is successfully established from your side before providing the credentials. For security purposes, please send the FTP access details through a private and secure channel.

    Additionally, for thorough troubleshooting of the ongoing issue, it is necessary for us to have both correct FTP and admin access to your website. Otherwise it will take additional dev time if any FTP or admin access is not correct.

    Thank you for your attention to these matters. We look forward to your prompt response and appreciate your cooperation.

The page can be accessed by any customer and is visible in the private area, as shown here: (https://prnt.sc/zGct7TFSJ6gO).

    Should you wish to enable direct access to this page via the Account element in the header, you may find a useful solution in a similar discussion on our forum: https://www.8theme.com/topic/need-assistance-for-the-my-account-widget/#post-344854.

    According to the fact we don’t have your FTP details you can implement such solution by your own or provide us FTP access so we could add that PHP Snippet on your web-site.

    Dear @Chandru,

    We hope this message finds you well. We have identified the cause of the issue you encountered. It appears that the Products Grid widget (https://prnt.sc/ofj4ZmebV8K5) was utilized instead of the Archive Products widget, which is necessary for Product Archives templates. The latter has been successfully implemented in all other Archive Builders templates, as shown here: https://prnt.sc/L5OmUe7MkkxN.

    Upon a detailed examination of the code, particularly the Ajax filter action, it was observed that the current Archive Products widget in Elementor should be replaced with the one from the Ajax-loaded page. In the specific product category template where the Product Grid element was used (with hardcoded products for output), no new Archive Products widget was found for replacement. To address this, we have added Archive Products widgets to that template as well.

    To completely resolve your query, we recommend setting the conditions correctly on each of your Product Archive templates or resetting all and then verifying, as currently, some templates have empty conditions, as indicated here: https://prnt.sc/MS1iBGv7l8b4.

    Hello @MatV,

    As previously mentioned, we have successfully established communication with the developers at Patchstack, and we are currently in the final stages of resolving all identified issues. The majority of the issues discovered have already been rectified from our end, and we have forwarded these fixes to the Patchstack service for verification. Once confirmed, these vulnerabilities will be marked as fixed on their website.

    All fixes will be integrated into our upcoming release, XStore theme version 9.3.9, and XStore Core plugin version 5.3.9. These updates will be bundled together and released simultaneously. We intend to deploy this update once Patchstack has confirmed the successful resolution of all reported issues from our end.

    As previously expressed, we sincerely appreciate your diligence in bringing these matters to our attention. Rest assured, we will promptly notify you upon receiving confirmation from Patchstack, allowing us to proceed with the submission of the theme update.

    Dear @Mr. Khurram Virk,

    I hope this message finds you well. We have a few updates and requests regarding our ongoing collaboration:

    1. We kindly request that you either disable the IP restriction or grant access to our site for users in Ukraine. Should you prefer to maintain a whitelist, please refer to the private content section where we have listed the IP addresses of our developers.

    2. Regarding your query about site health, we recommend checking if the issues persist regardless of the active theme. If the issues are specific to the XStore theme, we would be happy to investigate further. Otherwise, we suggest contacting the WordPress support team of your hosting provider for more comprehensive assistance.

    3. “as we decided to upgrade server resources, so we are migrating
    from godaddy managed ecommerce to high performance server (godaddy web hosting plus)” = we suggested switching to fully another provider rather than upgrading your GoDaddy plan. One of the recommended is Hostinger (https://hostinger.com.ua/), based on positive outcomes experienced by other clients who faced similar issues on GoDaddy servers. This change could potentially resolve the slow speed and site health issues you are experiencing.

    4. For the purchase of the XStore Theme, please proceed directly through Envato for the most secure and direct transaction.

    Thank you for your attention to these matters. We look forward to your prompt response and are here to assist with any further questions you may have.

    Dear Mr. Khurram Virk,

    I hope this message finds you well. We are currently encountering some challenges with the FTP connection and server access related to your account.

    Upon attempting to establish an FTP connection, we received the following error message:
    We can’t connect to FTP: Is there a restriction by IP or something else that doesn’t allow us to connect?

    Additionally, after successfully logging into your dashboard and navigating to WooCommerce -> Status (among other pages), we encountered an error from your server indicating “Access Denied – GoDaddy Website Firewall.” You can view the screenshot of this error at [https://prnt.sc/Zsu6NYGFgfFh](https://prnt.sc/Zsu6NYGFgfFh).

    It appears that these issues may be linked to settings on your GoDaddy server, which seems to restrict our access after approximately five minutes, subsequently locking us out. This might also be contributing to the FTP connection issues we are experiencing.

    Could you please check if there are any IP restrictions or other settings within the GoDaddy firewall that might be causing these problems? If possible, we would appreciate it if you could temporarily disable the firewall to see if this resolves the issue.

    If disabling the firewall does not address the problem, we might need you to consider alternative solutions, such as switching to a different server provider from GoDaddy.

    We value your cooperation and look forward to your prompt response so we can resolve these issues efficiently.

    I hope this message finds you well. We would like to bring to your attention that we encountered an issue while attempting to access your admin dashboard to verify the system requirements. Unfortunately, our access was blocked, as illustrated in the screenshot provided previously: https://prnt.sc/nYzIoUX6ANuB.

    If it is convenient for you, could you please check the system requirements yourself through the XStore Control Panel under ‘System Status’? If you notice any orange or red badges next to the system values, it indicates that those aspects do not meet the necessary requirements which should be fixed on your server.

    Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Best regards,

    The 8Theme Team

    Dear @GNC,

    We have reviewed the code and confirmed that the translation for the “Sale” text should be functioning correctly, as it inherits the global settings from WooCommerce for use within our XStore theme files. However, we have identified a workaround to ensure it meets your requirements.

    We have successfully replaced the variable for the “{sales_text}”, which is sourced from the WooCommerce translations, with your preferred “Promo” text. You can view the changes here: https://prnt.sc/x8Iect5Ob3Hz. The updated results can be seen here: https://prnt.sc/nHrMuivEWmz5, and they are now displaying correctly.

    Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Kind regards,

    The 8Theme Team

    Dear @Safe Desires Team,

    I hope this message finds you well. I would like to inform you that there is no predefined list of criteria for the function you are inquiring about. However, you can review the function titled “enable_or_disable_takeover” located in the plugin file at plugins/xstore-amp/xstore-amp.php for further details.

    To forcibly load most pages in AMP format, you may append the parameter “?amp=1” to the URLs. For example, you can modify the URL ‘https://yourwebsite.com/shop’ to ‘https://yourwebsite.com/shop?amp=1’ to achieve this.

    Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Kind regards,

    Jack Richardson

    Hello @Micol
    You can add next custom CSS to your Products Archive builder -> Dynamic Categories widget -> Custom CSS

    selector .swiper-wrapper {
        justify-content: center;
    }

    Kind regards, Jack Richardson

    Dear @Christopher Mitchell,

    I hope this message finds you well. Upon reviewing the WooCommerce -> Status -> Logs section, you will be able to locate details regarding the Memory Limit. You can view this information here: (https://prnt.sc/s1zUSjEfxsQw). This configuration needs to be set on your server. Therefore, I kindly ask you to contact your hosting provider to verify these settings.

    Additionally, I recommend reviewing our documentation on how to register and deregister purchase codes for your websites (live/staging). You can find the guide here: (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/how-to-registerderegister-xstore-theme-livestaging-websites/).

    Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Kind regards,

    The 8Theme Team
