We would like to inquire about the reason why your child theme is experiencing periodic changes? We assure you that we are not influencing it.

We are trying to explain that if you have uploaded a file that works in the child theme and everything is fine, then there is no need to worry about it anymore. However, if someone in your child theme is overwriting/deleting that file, then it is a matter for you to resolve. You will need to deal with this and in principle, there will be nothing required from us.

“I have to add that when I tried to update it, it is creating a new xstore theme with the version 14 but didn’t update my version 13. And if I swap for the version 14, i am loosing my design.” – could you record a video?

Have you created a full backup?
Download the latest theme version from – https://www.8theme.com/downloads Go to Dashboard > Themes > Add new > Upload theme > Choose file > Install now > click on “Replace current with uploaded” and the theme will be updated on your site.

They can rewrite the files: xstore/woocommerce/content-product.php and xstore/woocommerce/content-product-slider.php in the child theme and customize them according to their needs (adding hooks/filters/etc).
This can be done without involving us for implementing global changes to the theme, as it may harm the design and alter the product appearance for other customers who do not require this.

“In the “none 8theme widget” you can do it .” – because this is not a filter, just a list of categories.
