    2/ Elementor plugin has 2 versions: free and Pro. Elementor plugin author does not offer a developer license for the Pro version and does not allow to built-in Pro version of the plugin to themes. So, the Pro version was never included in XStore. All our demos are built using the free version of the Elementor plugin and XStore Elementor elements. So, Elementor Pro is not required, but we are compatible with it.

    3/ The shop page is a catalog page for products that cannot be edited using the Elementor free version by default. To be able to edit the Shop page using Elementor, Please use XStore builders: Product archive builder and make custom layout for shop page or archive pages.

    The terms & conditions section relates to woocommerce functionality. The code of Wp-bakery in terms & conditions area is shown even with the default theme, so this situation relates to the functionality of WC, and is independent of our theme/can’t be fixed from our side.

    We would recommend you do not use WP-bakery to create content of the terms & conditions page because WC and WP-bakery are not compatible there.

    1/ Updating a child theme typically won’t erase your current changes.Child themes are designed to inherit functionalities and styles from their parent themes while allowing you to make modifications without affecting the parent theme’s core files. When you update a child theme, the changes you’ve made directly to the child theme files should remain intact.

    However, it’s always a good practice to backup your child theme files before updating, just in case something unexpected happens during the update process. This ensures that you can easily revert to the previous version if needed.
