    Regarding the child theme setup, it’s normal to start with just the functions.php and screenshot.png files.
    XStore theme does not impose any limitations on the functionality of child themes; they operate in the same manner as they would with any other WordPress theme. For additional information, we recommend consulting the WordPress support resources.

    For removing or deactivating dropdown pages within the shop menu item https://prnt.sc/fHlliY_lJ7LS , can typically be managed through the WordPress dashboard under Appearance > Menus. Here you can edit the menu structure and remove any unwanted items.

    Implementing temporary customizations, can be done by custom CSS or by editing the theme’s template files within your child theme.     Do you mean XStore Buildera templates, like Single Product or Archive https://prnt.sc/KvoqrIhXCAWh ? You can also edit them directly but do not set conditions to show them to customers.

After doing so, please clear your browser’s cache and check again. It is possible that one of these additional plugins is causing the issue.

    If the problem persists, we suggest switching to the Parent theme if you are currently using the Child Theme on your site. After clearing the cache, check again. The issue may be due to your custom code in the Child Theme.

    Should the issue continue, please keep all third-party plugins deactivated on your site and allow us permission to debug your site. This includes deactivating all third-party plugins and on-site customization. This will enable us to investigate and assist you more effectively.

    We recommend checking the following:
    – Ensure that your hosting environment meets the minimum requirements for the theme https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/xstore-theme-requirements/
    – Increase the PHP memory limit and execution time if they are set too low.
    – Check the error logs on your server for any specific error messages that could provide more insight into the issue.

    500 Internal server error means that there is some Fatal error in PHP script or on the server side. You can turn on debug mode in WordPress to see the error https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress
    If it will not show any errors then contact your hosting providers and ask them to give you a server error log to check what is wrong.
