If you want to change the options for the page only:
1) Make sure that CMB2 plugin is installed and activated
2) Go to Pages > edit your home page > scroll down to 8theme Options and enable Header overlap, Header transparent, choose the header color scheme white and top bar white

If you want to apply these options in general then go to XStore > Theme Options > Header find these options and enable them.

If you are using the latest theme version and imported home red version from the Dashboard http://prntscr.com/nuxp86 options would be imported. I’m not sure why it failed on your site.

1) You set image width 500px http://prntscr.com/nuu6sb Container width is 1170px. So, 500×2 + 6×4(image paddings with border) + 15×4(columns paddings)= 1084 images are center aligned and you get the gap. Change the images width.
2) Also, you may try Media grid element if you want to add few images http://prntscr.com/nuu5kc It allows you to choose the gap, number of images per row and also image design http://prntscr.com/nuu6cr

The Shop page displays the Shop page widget area (Appearance > Widgets). Cart, Checkout, My account and other simple pages display the Main sidebar widget area. You can choose another widget area for these pages in page options (Pages > edit page > scroll down to 8theme Options > Widget Area) or disable it at all for the page choosing Sidebar > Without.
