I see where to adjust the layouts, but where do I modify the content, the top right shopping bag/cart goes to the link attached and I want it to go to a different link

Hello,

Cart redirects to cart page. There is no option to add custom link for the cart. It’s possible only by additional customization.
If you want to change the permalinks type and have https://metsuco.com/cart/ instead of https://metsuco.com/?page_id=4501 go to Settings > Permalinks and choose the Post name type instead of Plain.

the side bar of categories is displaying something different than the normal categories. if you look here (first link attached)
you’ll see the categories are much different than the cart side bar. I’d like the cart side bar to be the same as the first link attached

Hello,

The Shop page displays the Shop page widget area (Appearance > Widgets). Cart, Checkout, My account and other simple pages display the Main sidebar widget area. You can choose another widget area for these pages in page options (Pages > edit page > scroll down to 8theme Options > Widget Area) or disable it at all for the page choosing Sidebar > Without.
