Please uncheck “Show as dropdown” in the settings for the widget and it will work fine. But in case, you want to have the dropdown for product categories, provide us with FTP access, so we can check the problem more deeply.
We can’t recreate this problem on our test site.

We’ve checked how it works with the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront and the problem persists, so it should be fixed by Elementor Pro.

This is independent of the theme, settings for images come from WooCommerce plugin, if our recommendation doesn’t suit you, please contact the support of WooCommerce.
