    To answer your question, when the main theme is updated, the child theme does not automatically update. The child theme is a separate entity that inherits the functionality and styling of the parent theme, allowing you to make customizations without affecting the core theme files. Therefore, your customizations in the child theme remain intact even when the main theme is updated.

    To confirm that your main theme has been updated successfully, you can check the version number in the theme’s main stylesheet or in the dashboard where the theme updates are managed. As for the child theme, since it does not update along with the main theme, you would continue to use the same version of the child theme unless you make manual changes to it.

    Breadcrumbs can be disabled via Theme Options > Breadcrumbs > Style.

    “Do you thinnk it is showing up as part of the breadcrumbs for some reason?” – this is the mobile header that shows on the desktop view for some reason.
    We recommend that you disable all third-party plugins that are not included with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/). After doing so, please clear your browser’s cache and check again. It is possible that one of these additional plugins is causing the issue.
    If the problem persists, we suggest switching to the Parent theme if you are currently using the Child Theme on your site. After clearing the cache, check again. The issue may be due to your custom code in the Child Theme.

    Every additional plugin slows down the site a bit, so we would recommend you disable unrequired plugins.

    Please go to Theme Options > WooCommerce (Shop) > Shop > Products style > Show Excerpt In Content Product > Off.
    It is because your excerpt contains tags, and when a part of the excerpt is taken to show on the Shop page, some unclosed tags cause the problem. Keep the option disabled or edit the description of products. You can add a few words in the Short description area, without tags, then the content will be displayed just fine.
