- MySQL version: 5.7 or higher (or MariaDB 10.3+)
- Web Server: Apache or NGINX recommended
- HTTPS: Required (SSL certificate should be active on your site)
Required PHP Extensions #
Make sure the following extensions are enabled on your server:
- cURL
- mbstring
- JSON
- OpenSSL
- DOM
- GD or Imagick (for image processing)
- Zip (required for handling plugin updates via .zip files)
Recommended WordPress Settings #
- Memory limit: 256 MB or higher
- Max execution time: 120 seconds
- Max input vars: 3000+
- REST API: Must be enabled and accessible (used for AJAX operations and admin features)
Browser Compatibility #
SalesMax is optimized for all major modern browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Microsoft Edge
- Safari (latest versions)
Note: JavaScript must be enabled in the user’s browser for frontend boosters and analytics to function properly.
Hosting Compatibility #
SalesMax is compatible with most well-configured shared, VPS, and cloud hosting environments.
We recommend using a reputable WooCommerce-optimized host for best results.
Note: Avoid hosts that aggressively disable REST API, block AJAX requests, or strip plugin headers.
Additional Notes #
Multisite: SalesMax supports WordPress Multisite in standard WooCommerce setups, but each site must configure boosters independently.
Caching: Compatible with most caching plugins, but dynamic boosters (e.g. popups, cart-based boosters) may require AJAX exclusions.
Page Builders: Compatible with Elementor, WPBakery, and Gutenberg. Shortcodes are available for manual placement.
Tip: For best results, always keep WordPress, WooCommerce, and SalesMax updated to the latest stable versions.
