💡 The selected template may affect the availability of some display options and elements in the Appearance section.
Appearance #
Customize the visual layout and content of the Buy More Save More block to align with your store’s branding and clearly present your quantity-based offers.
General
The following options are available:
Section Title
Defines the main heading displayed at the top of the booster block.
Use it to briefly explain the promotion (e.g., “Buy More Save More”, “Bulk Discounts”, or “Quantity Deals”).
This helps attract attention and sets clear expectations for the customer.
Section Subtitle
An optional secondary heading placed below the main title.
You can use this field to provide extra motivation or context (e.g., “Get a better deal when you buy more” or “Save up to 20% when you purchase in bulk”).
It adds clarity and helps increase conversion.
Highlight Badge
Adds a small visual tag to emphasize the deal.
This badge may appear near the title or alongside the discount options depending on your theme and layout.
Ideal for messaging like “Hot Deal”, “Limited Offer”, or “Exclusive Discount”.
Style
This section allows you to fine-tune the visual appearance of the recommendation block and its elements — no coding required. Customize styles like spacing, colors, fonts, and layout behavior to match your store’s branding.
Here you can adjust:
Layout spacing
(padding and margins)
Container styling
(border radius, border color, background)
Typography
for titles, subtitles, and badges
CTA button colors and fonts
These options allow you to match the booster’s design with your site’s overall branding and UX preferences.
Note:Â Some style options may vary slightly depending on the selected template.
Bulk Discounts #
The Buy More Save More booster offers two flexible discounting strategies under the Bulk Discounts section. These allow you to define how discounts are calculated based on the quantity of items the customer adds to their cart.
Choose Your Discount Strategy
Select one of the following strategies to apply bulk discounts:
Quantity-Based Discounts
This strategy applies a specific discount when the customer purchases an exact number of the same product.
Settings:
- Quantity
Define the number of items required to trigger the discount (e.g., Buy 3). - Discount Type
– Percentage – e.g., 10% off
– Fixed Price – e.g., $5 off - Discount Value
Set the actual discount value based on the selected type. - Custom Badge
Add a label (e.g., Hot Deal, Most Popular) to visually emphasize the offer.
Range-Based Discounts
This method allows for tiered discounts based on quantity ranges, giving you the flexibility to reward larger purchases with greater savings.
Settings:
- Min. Quantity
Minimum number of items needed to activate the discount. - Max. Quantity
Maximum number of items eligible for the discount.
Combine Multiple Discount Rules
💡 You can create multiple discount rules within the same booster to cover different purchase scenarios.
For example:
– Buy each 3 items → get 10% off
– Buy between 5 and 10 items → get $15 off
– Buy between 20 and 30 items → get 12% off
Each rule can use a different discount type (percentage or fixed) and quantity range. The booster will automatically apply the appropriate discount based on the customer’s selected quantity.
Optional: Preselect Default Single Item
Enable the checkbox “Preselect default single item” if you want the first item in the booster section to be automatically selected without any discount applied.
This ensures the base product is always added to the cart before additional quantity-based discounts are considered.
Filters / Apply to #
This section allows you to define where the booster should appear, by targeting specific products or groups of products using basic filters.
You can control booster visibility using:
All Products
Display the booster on all product pages across your store.
Specific Products
Select individual products manually.
Product Categories
Limit visibility to products belonging to selected categories.
Product Tags
Show the booster for products with matching tags.
Product SKUs
Target specific SKUs for precise control.
Â
Filter Logic (Match Rules)
SalesMax gives you the option to choose how these filters are evaluated:
Match any (OR logic)
The booster will be triggered if the product matches at least one of the selected conditions.
Match all (AND logic)
The booster will only appear if the product matches every selected condition.
đź’ˇ Tip: This flexibility allows you to create both broad and highly-specific targeting scenarios depending on your campaign goals.
Display Settings #
Control where the Buy More Save More booster appears on your product page. This flexibility allows you to place the booster exactly where it makes the most sense for your layout and customer flow.
Available display positions:
– Top of the Product Page (before the product image, title, and details)
– Before Cart Form (Right above the Add to Cart button)
– After Cart Form (Directly below the Add to Cart button)
– After Product Summary (Below the product description, price, and metadata section)
– Before Product Tabs (Right before the tabs like Description, Reviews, etc.)
– Bottom of the Product Page (After all standard WooCommerce product content)
– Use a Shortcode (Insert the booster manually anywhere using: [smax_buy_more_save_more]
)
đź’ˇ Tip: If you’re using a page builder like Elementor, you can also display this booster using the dedicated SalesMax widget, giving you full visual control over placement.
Frontend Result #
On the product page, eligible products will display quantity pricing.
When threshold is met, the discount is applied automatically.
Troubleshooting #
- Ensure booster is Active
- Check product visibility rules
- Verify no conflict with other same type boosters or discounts
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) #
The booster is not showing on the product page. Why?
- Confirm that the selected display position is compatible with your theme.
- If using a custom or heavily modified theme, some WooCommerce hooks may be missing.
- Try switching to the “Use a shortcode” option and manually place
[smax_buy_more_save_more]
where you want it to appear.
If you’ve configured everything correctly but still don’t see the booster, it might be due to your page builder setup. If you’re using Elementor to design the chosen page, follow these steps:
- Open the single product template in Elementor
- Locate the SalesMax widget in the Elementor widget panel
- Drag the widget to your desired location and choose the corresponding booster (e.g., Buy More Save More)
- Save and publish changes
This ensures full compatibility and dynamic display based on conditions.
If the issue persists, you can contact our support team (see below).
Why isn’t the discount being applied at checkout?
– Make sure the quantity conditions are met (e.g., minimum or exact quantity is in the cart).
– Check that the booster is enabled and correctly configured.
– Ensure there are no conflicting discount rules from other plugins or coupon settings.
– If using range-based discounts, verify that the min/max values do not overlap incorrectly.
Can I combine this booster with other SalesMax boosters?
Yes. You can assign different boosters to different locations. However, we recommend not overcrowding a single product or page with too many boosters to avoid confusing the customer.
