– Minimal – A clean and straightforward design focused on simplicity and clarity. This layout presents product add-ons in a professional list format with minimal distractions, allowing customers to make quick and informed decisions.

– Colorful – A vibrant and engaging design that highlights product add-ons with bold colors and dynamic visuals. Perfect for drawing attention to special offers, discounts, and encouraging more purchases in a visually appealing way.

πŸ’‘Β The selected template may affect the availability of some display options and elements in the Appearance section.

Appearance #

Customize the visual layout and content of the booster block to match your store’s design and clearly communicate the offer.

The following options are available:

Section Title

Sets the main heading for the booster block.
Use this to briefly describe the offer (e.g., β€œAdd-ons”, β€œRecommended Items”, or β€œUpgrade Options”).
This helps customers immediately recognize the purpose of the section.

Section Subtitle

Optional supporting heading text.
Use it to add a short explanation or promotional message (e.g., β€œPair these items for the best experience” or β€œComplete your bundle”).
It adds extra context and encourages engagement.

Highlight Badge

Displays a small badge or tag next to the title or product list.
Ideal for drawing attention to a special deal (e.g., β€œHot Deal”, β€œBest Offer”, β€œLimited Time”).
This element can improve visibility and urgency.

Note: The appearance and availability of certain design options may vary depending on the selected template layout.

Filters / Apply To #

This section allows you to define where the booster should appear, by targeting specific products or groups of products using basic filters.

Β

Filter Logic (Match Rules)

SalesMax gives you the option to choose how these filters are evaluated:

Match any (OR logic)

The booster will be triggered if the product matches at least one of the selected conditions.

Match all (AND logic)

The booster will only appear if the product matches every selected condition.

πŸ’‘ Tip: This flexibility allows you to create both broad and highly-specific targeting scenarios depending on your campaign goals.

Display Settings #

Choose where on the product page the combo booster will appear:

– Before Add to Cart button
– After Add to Cart button

πŸ’‘ Tip: If you’re using Elementor, you can insert this booster with the SalesMax widget.

Products #

This section lets you control how products will be selected and handled inside the booster.

You can choose between few suggestion methods:

Use Related products

This will use WooCommerce Related Products as Upsell products. WooCommerce decides the relation based on products having the same tags or categories.

Use Cross-sell products

This will use the “Cross-sell products” selected under the “Linked Products” section in the product creation page.

Use Upsell products

This will use the “Upsell products” selected under the “Linked Products” section in the product creation page.

Specific products

This will use the following set of products as Upsell products. Use the product search to find and add items.

Additional Product Behavior Options

Once you select the products, you can configure how they behave in the cart:

Cart Item Quantity

Decide whether customers can change the quantity of combo products directly from the cart.

Fixed
The quantity of the suggested product is locked (e.g., always 1).
Customers will not be able to adjust it manually in the cart.

Editable
Allow customers to increase or decrease the quantity of the suggested product directly in the cart.

Sync with main product quantity
Automatically match the quantity of the suggested product to the quantity of the item that triggered the booster logic.
For example, if a customer adds 2 units of a qualifying product, the suggested item will also be added with quantity 2.

πŸ’‘Β Useful for offering flexibility in bundled offers.

Discount Settings #

This section controls whether and how discounts are applied to the products displayed in the booster. You can choose from multiple discount types depending on your campaign strategy β€” whether you’re promoting bundles, upsells, or volume-based savings.

Discount Type

  • None* – no discount is applied. Products will be shown with their regular price.
  • Fixed Discount – applies a specific discount amount (e.g., $5 off) to each product in the booster.
  • Percentage Discount – applies a percentage-based discount (e.g., 10% off) to each product individually.
  • Free* – makes selected product(s) in the combo completely free (e.g., 100% off). You can apply this to one or more items within the booster. The product will appear in the cart with a $0.00 price.

Note: Available discount options may vary depending on the booster type and its specific configuration.

Example Scenarios

  • Fixed discount: Each add-on gets $3 off β€” perfect for simple bundles.
  • Percentage discount: 20% off each item β€” great for add-on accessories.

Visibility

You can configure how the discount is shown on the frontend using badges or price formatting (this is controlled in the display settings).
If a product already has a sale price, you may optionally exclude it from receiving additional discounts.
