    We have determined that the issue you are experiencing is due to the “woocommerce-mercadopago” plugin. This is a third-party plugin and is not included in our list of compatible plugins.

    We kindly request that you check the issue by activating the default WordPress Theme, such as Twenty Twenty-Three, to ensure that the issue persists regardless of the theme.

    If the issue persists, it would indicate that the issue is not related to our theme and you would need to reach out to the WooCommerce support for assistance.

    If the issue is resolved with the default WordPress theme, it should also be resolved with our theme.

    You’re welcome! That’s a great suggestion. Adding an option to enable or disable the function within the theme would provide more flexibility for users and ensure they have control over the feature. Displaying a warning message upon enabling the function would also be a helpful addition.

    As for the number of upvotes required, it ultimately depends on the dev team’s decision-making process and priorities.

    However, it’s always a good idea to add any feature requests to the taskboard so that they can be considered in future updates.

    1. Elementor plugin has 2 versions: free and Pro. Elementor plugin author does not offer a developer license for the Pro version and does not allow to built-in Pro version of the plugin to themes. So, the Pro version was never included in XStore. All our demos are built using the free version of the Elementor plugin and XStore Elementor elements. So, Elementor Pro is not required, but we are compatible with it.

    If you are using a plugin like Hucommerce to customize the checkout page in WooCommerce, and your theme is overwriting the customization, you can use some custom code to remove the state field from the checkout page. Here’s how:

    1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Appearance > Theme Editor.

    2. In the right-hand pane, find the “functions.php” file for your child theme.

    3. Add the following code at the end of the file:

    add_filter( 'woocommerce_checkout_fields' , 'remove_state_checkout_fields' );
    
    function remove_state_checkout_fields( $fields ) {
        unset($fields['billing']['billing_state']); // Remove state field from billing section

It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the issue.

    If the issue still persists, please keep all third-party plugins deactivated on your site and grant permission to debug your site, which includes deactivating all third-party plugins and on-site Customization. This will allow us to investigate and assist you accordingly.

    To set a default country on the checkout page in WooCommerce, you can follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to the WooCommerce settings page by going to WooCommerce > Settings.

    2. Click on the “General” tab at the top of the page.

    3. Scroll down to the “Default customer location” section.

    4. Set the “Default country” to the country you want to use as the default.

    5. Save your changes by clicking on the “Save changes” button at the bottom of the page.

    This will set the default country for your checkout page. If a customer does not enter a country during checkout, this default country will be used.

    To use self-hosted Google fonts, you would need to download the font files and host them on your own server. Here are the steps you can follow:

    Find the font you want to use on the Google Fonts website.

    Click on the “Select this font” button, and then click on the “Download” button in the top-right corner of the page.

    This will download a ZIP file containing the font files you need. Extract the files from the ZIP archive.

    Upload the font files to your site from XStore >> Dashboard >> Custom Font

    And then you will be able to use that font on your site from XStore >> Theme Options >> Typography options.
