1) To remove the default widget from the shop sidebar go to Appearance > Widgets > add empty text widget to the Shop sidebar. If you want to disable sidebar on the shop page go to Theme Options > Product page layout > Layout > choose without sidebar.

2) Add the below custom to Theme Options > Custom CSS to hide the button

    display: none!important;
}

Take my apologies but probably I don’t understand your issue.

If you use your custom switcher it loads the first image after the lazy loading not the second one like you want https://gyazo.com/830e02980e9e55343db7b1cc7954648b Right? But the appearance of the second image by switcher click is your customization. It does not work for the products after the lazy loading because these products load using ajax, they just do not exist while you click the switcher that’s why you custom js does not work for them.

I checked the home page slider settings and don’t face issue with the Slider stop on hover and Mousewheel control option. They checked and work on frontend no matter how many times I edit the page or reload. So, don’t understand the issue.

If you use third-party swatches plugin then disable built-in swatches option, don’t mix them.
We did not test our theme with the mentioned plugin. Maybe you will need to use the default WooCommerce gallery (like described here https://www.8theme.com/documentation/docs/support-of-the-woocommerce-additional-variation-images-plugin/ ) instead of the custom slider that our theme use.
