Change product image only when one attribute (color) selected

Greetings,

it seems that woocommerce’s default behavior is to display variation image only when all attributes from this variation are selected.
Is it possibly to display a variation product image only with the first attribute (color) being selected?

I found this solution: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/63525264/woocommerce-change-product-image-when-only-one-attribute-is-selected but this is for selected plugin.
Xstore has integrated swatches so I was wondering if you really appreciate if you could help me with that.

If I use this plugin: https://getwooplugins.com/plugins/woocommerce-variation-swatches/ for this option am I going to have any issues with the theme and the default swatches?

Hello,

If you use third-party swatches plugin then disable built-in swatches option, don’t mix them.
We did not test our theme with the mentioned plugin. Maybe you will need to use the default WooCommerce gallery (like described here https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/97-support-of-the-woocommerce-additional-variation-images-plugin ) instead of the custom slider that our theme use.

It’s really hard to setup this extra plugin… Is there any chance you can do this modification on the xstore theme for me with an extra fee?

Did you face any compatibility issues with that plugin?
Our basic support does not include additional customization, unfortunately.
You can submit feature request here https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/ and if it takes many votes from other customers then our developers will be able to take a closer look and try to implement the feature.
