Image hover didn’t work because you didn’t enable “Swap” option in “Product Image Hover” field in 8Theme Options > E-Commerce > Products Page Layout. I’ve enabled it and hover effect is working now.
Please check it. Don’t forget to upload an image in the product editor in “Hover image” section at the bottom.
