Please refer to Visual composer documentation and support forum, this situation does not depend on the theme, sorry.
Also, you need to update http://prntscr.com/gzp4cw To update premium plugins, connect to your server using FTP. Copy extracted plugins folders into wp-content/plugins/ . The latest versions of plugins you can find here.

The color you may change in Theme Options > General > Header Settings > Header text color > White.
Thanks to your question, we were able to find a bug in the current theme version, that will be fixed in next theme version, until that, please set White color scheme and use this code in Theme Options > Styling > Custom css as a temporary solution:
