Customizing the Handmade Home Page - by slopo

Hello all,
I’m having trouble customizing the home page of XStore Handmade. Visual Composer will not load unless I deactivate the the plugin “Massive Addons for Visual Composer” (version 2.2) and if I do that, most of the home page is a mess of code and it’s almost impossible to edit anything.

Any ideas?

Hi,

this is an issue that should be fixed by Massive Addon team or by VC team.

for the time being please use VC backend editor if you are using Massive Addon too

Hi Amzy, I’m not certain, but I think the recent Xstore update broke the home page on my Handmade install. All the Massive Addon components that were on the home page are no longer loading. Any ideas?

OK, where can I find that? I saw your screen shot, but that’s not a screen I recognize in my WP install.

Thanks for your help. I updated to the latest XStore version today, hoping that would help, but it didn’t. Still can’t find the animation settings in your screen shots. wp-admin access included in private content.

Hello, I’m having a hard time finding the home page background image for the Handmade theme. This is the brown burlap pattern. I’ve tried using the inspector in Chrome, but I cannot find it in the CSS styles.

Can you tell me where this image is and how I can edit it? I just want to change the color of it, but if I have to upload an all new image, that’s fine.

Hi again. I’m having problems finding the CSS selectors for hover and active states on the /shop page. Specifically, the categories menu on the left side (https://prnt.sc/h52okz) and the Add to Cart button when you hover over the product tiles (https://prnt.sc/h52ous).

I need to change the colors for those to work with the white page background. Any idea where those colors can be changed or what the CSS selectors are? I’ve tried using the Chrome inspector, but can’t seem to find them.

color: rebeccapurple !important;
}

2. You meant you don’t want the sliding up of the “Add to cart” button? Instead you want to say the button always?

Hi Laranz. For #2, I want to keep the “Add to Cart” button slide up, but I need to change the color on hover. Right now it’s brown and I can’t find where to change that, either in the theme setting or in CSS.

Also, access to your admin panel isn’t full so I can’t check your Theme Options to provide you detail screenshots.
