Hello,
Default demo language links don’t work, it’s just an option to show that you can create multilingual site. To remove this default content from the Top bar, add an empty text widget in Appearance > Widgets > Place in header top bar.
If you plan to create the multilanguage site you may use WPML plugin https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/

If you face the message about outdated files, likely it is because of changes in the child theme (Woocommerce > Status > and check if outdated files relate to your child theme). In this case, you need to compare 2 files and add the missing code to your child theme file.

Make sure you placed translation files into the /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder with correct names (language name and xstore theme suffix, e.g xstore-de_DE.po, xstore-de_DE.mo).
If you face problems with translation, you need to be sure that your translation files are synchronized. Button Sync (Loco Translate plugin http://prntscr.com/glemdq) allows you to synchronize your translation file with pot file.
If synchronization doesn’t help, provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access.
Yes, you can. We did not find any critical compatibility issues.
If you want to update WooCommerce to 3.6 version then don’t forget to update XStore theme to 5.2 version.

To change links of products images on the Shop page you need to make changes in content-product.php (royal/woocommerce) via child theme.

I’d suggest to use it only if you don’t have too many products in your store and if the short description is not long. Otherwise, your store page could became very long and also it won’t be easy to read the description.

Hello,
I would recommend you to create a staging site (a full copy of live site) and update Royal there. Make sure that everything is ok and only after that update everything on the production site.
As I can see, the version of your parent theme is 2.3, the latest version of Royal is 4.7.3. You need to update the parent theme (follow our documentation – https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#installation_upgrade). If you use child theme then child theme files should be updated according to new files.
Setup Wizard should be skipped after the update.

Please note that the latest version of Royal theme is compatible with WooCommerce up to 3.5.x version. New theme version will be released soon and will be compatible with WC 3.6.x.
