Do you use any cache plugins? For example SG optimizer or similar? Check if that plugin has the Lazy load option for the images and disable it. Our theme comes bundled with the lazy loading for the images (Theme Options > Speed Optimization > Images loading type) and it may conflict with the same option from other plugins.
