To change the target text bg color and color use the following custom CSS:

::target-text {
  	background-color: #02a3b6;
		color:#fff;
}

I added that custom to Theme Options > Custom CSS. Check now.
Also, if you add any information to Private content then there is no need to duplicate that in the default message area. And if you add any public info to the general message then there is no need to duplicate that in the Private content area.

If you can’t change the slug to “checkout” it means that you already have the page with that slug or page in your trash with this slug. So, check the list of pages and remove pages from your trash. Try to change the slug of your page after that.
