    Dear @muhammad,

    You can use the icon box element to achieve that: https://prnt.sc/lx2x7nB6B-23.

    We’ve added 3 icon box elements to make an example for you.

    Dear @Namaste,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    It appears that there was a conflict with the comment/review settings, which had been set to “OFF” by default. To resolve this issue, we have added a custom code snippet to the functions.php file located in your child theme:

    add_filter(‘comments_open’, ‘__return_true’, 999);

    This adjustment should now allow the reviews to display correctly on your site.

    Could you kindly verify that everything is working as expected on your end?

    Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Hi @lollo,

    We’ve added this custom Javascript code and it activated the Reviews tab by default:

    jQuery(document).ready(function($){
    	setTimeout(function(){
    		$('a[href="#tab_reviews"]').trigger('click');
    	}, 1500);
    });

    Could you please check again?

    Thank you!

    Dear @kmc,

    We kindly ask you to completely disable all third-party plugins that are not included with XStore. You can find the list of officially supported plugins here: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/.

    Once you have disabled the non-included plugins, please clear your browser’s cache and check the issue again. It is possible that one of the additional plugins may be causing the problem.

    Please let us know the outcome after performing these steps.

    Dear @Siddharth,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    We are currently unable to access your website, as it appears that all resource files are broken. We kindly request that you contact your hosting provider’s support team to investigate this matter further. They may be able to review the error logs and identify whether a specific plugin or theme is causing the issue.

    In the meantime, we recommend disabling all third-party plugins that are not included with the XStore theme. You can find a list of the included plugins here: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/. After disabling the additional plugins, please clear your browser cache and check the website again. It is possible that one of the external plugins is contributing to the problem.

    If the issue persists, we suggest switching to the Parent theme, especially if you are currently using a Child Theme. Once again, please clear your cache and verify the website’s functionality.

    Additionally, we recommend testing your site with the default WooCommerce theme, Storefront. This will help determine whether the issue is related to custom code within your Child Theme.

    Please let us know the outcome of these steps so we can assist you further.

    Best regards,

    Dear @kmc,

    We believe the issue may have been caused by a conflict between the LiteSpeed Cache and Elementor plugins.

    To address this, we navigated to the Elementor settings and modified the CSS Print Method to “Internal Embedding,” as shown in the screenshot below:

    https://prnt.sc/HgYE6L9NQhgd

    Following this adjustment, everything appears to be functioning correctly.

    Could you please check on your end and confirm?

    Hello @M.,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    We would like to kindly bring to your attention that the speed of AJAX operations—such as adding or updating items in the cart, refreshing the cart/checkout form, and filtering products—is directly influenced by your server’s response time and the structure of your database. Our theme sends requests to your database and waits for a response. If the response time is slower than expected, we recommend reaching out to your hosting provider to explore potential improvements in server performance, as this aspect falls outside the scope of our control.

    Regarding your inquiry about improving the performance of the header Ajax search form, we would like to inform you that while W3 Total Cache (W3TC) is an excellent plugin for enhancing overall site performance, it does not directly cache dynamic Ajax search results by default. Ajax-based features typically rely on real-time data fetching, which is not easily cached through standard page caching methods.

    However, below there are a few steps you can try to optimize the performance of the Ajax search(we can’t guarantee it will work 100%):

    1. Enable Object and Database Caching in W3TC – This can help reduce the load time of repeated queries.
    2. Minimize the number of results returned – You can limit the number of search results displayed to improve response time.
    3. Optimize your database – Regularly clean up and optimize your database to ensure faster query execution.
    4. Use a CDN – Serving static assets through a Content Delivery Network can reduce server load and improve overall performance.

    If you are experiencing noticeable delays, we also recommend checking for any third-party plugin conflicts or custom code that may be affecting the search functionality.

    Hello @Ofer,

    We have noticed that your website is utilizing a large number of plugins. This could potentially impact the website’s performance, lead to errors, and affect its overall speed. To ensure optimal functionality and avoid such issues, we kindly ask you to manually review each plugin currently in use on your website.

    If the problem persists, we suggest switching to the Parent theme if you are currently using the Child Theme on your site. After clearing the cache, check again.
    Do the same test for the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront. The issue may be due to your custom code in the Child Theme.

    If it doesn’t help, could you please provide temporary wp-admin access? We need to check your settings.

    To grant WP-Admin access and website URL, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

    Best Regards,
    The 8Theme Team.

    Hello @Officina 2.0,

    Thank you for reaching out to us and for providing detailed information regarding the issues you are experiencing.

    We understand how frustrating it can be to encounter persistent server errors, especially when they interfere with essential WordPress functionality. Based on your description, the 502 Bad Gateway error and the unexpected error message on the “Appearance > Themes > Add New” page may indeed be related to server configuration.

    Here are a few suggestions to help diagnose and potentially resolve the issue:

    1. Server Communication with WordPress.org
    The error message you are seeing typically indicates that your server is unable to connect to the WordPress.org API. This could be due to firewall restrictions, DNS misconfiguration, or cURL-related issues on the server. We recommend checking the following:
    – Ensure that outbound connections to api.wordpress.org are allowed.
    – Verify that the server’s DNS settings are correctly configured.
    – Confirm that the cURL PHP extension is enabled and functioning properly.

    2. 502 Bad Gateway Error
    This error is often related to server overload, PHP-FPM misconfiguration, or timeouts. Since the issue occurs when deactivating plugins, it may be that a specific plugin is causing a high memory or CPU load during the deactivation process. We suggest:
    – Reviewing the Nginx and PHP error logs at the time the error occurs.
    – Increasing the PHP max_execution_time and memory_limit values temporarily to see if this mitigates the issue.
    – Deactivating plugins one at a time to identify if a specific plugin is triggering the error.

    3. Theme and Plugin Conflicts
    Although the issue appears to be isolated to this particular website, it may still be helpful to perform a conflict test:
    – Switch to a default WordPress theme (e.g., Twenty Twenty-Four) and check if the issue persists.
    – Disable all plugins and then reactivate them one by one to identify any conflicts.

    4. Plesk/Nginx Configuration
    Since your server uses Nginx with Plesk, please ensure that the Nginx configuration for this domain is not overriding or conflicting with PHP-FPM settings. Also, check if any custom Nginx directives are applied to this domain that may affect plugin or theme operations.

    Since they’re all related to the server side, could you kindly reach out to your hosting provider and request a more in-depth investigation into the following aspects of your hosting plan?

    – Storage capacity
    – Memory allocation
    – RAM/CPU resources
    – Bandwidth limits

    We have already reviewed the error_log on our side. However, we also recommend asking your hosting provider to check their server logs to help identify the root cause of the issue, whether it may be related to plugins, the theme, or any custom code.

    Thank you very much for your cooperation and understanding.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Dear @Jennifer,

    We believe that the Stock Manager plugin was causing the issues you experienced.

    It appears that the plugin generated its own product prices, which then overrode the default pricing set by the WooCommerce plugin. As a result, WooCommerce was unable to correctly identify whether products were on sale.

    After disabling the Stock Manager plugin, the issues seem to have been resolved.

    Could you please check on your end and confirm if everything is now working as expected?

    Dear Niraj,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We completely understand your concerns regarding your website’s speed and performance. After carefully reviewing the GTmetrix report you provided, we can confirm that there is indeed potential for further optimization to enhance loading times and overall site performance.

    Please note that website speed is influenced by multiple factors, including server performance, theme optimization, the number and quality of installed plugins, image sizes, and any additional customizations. While our theme is designed with performance in mind, external factors can significantly affect the final results.

    As you are planning to migrate to the WordPress.com Commerce plan, it is worth mentioning that WordPress.com offers a highly optimized hosting environment. This should contribute positively to your website’s speed, security, and overall stability compared to a standard cloud server.

    Additionally, we recommend the following steps to further improve your website’s performance:

    – Optimize all images using a reliable image optimization plugin or service(e.g Smushit, Imagify, …).
    – Minimize the number of active plugins, ensuring that only lightweight and essential plugins are used.
    – Implement a caching solution to reduce server load and enhance loading times(e.g. WP Rocket, Litespeed Cache, …).
    – Utilize a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to deliver content more efficiently to users across different regions(https://www.wpbeginner.com/showcase/best-wordpress-cdn-services/).
    – Regularly update your theme, plugins, and the WordPress core to the latest versions to maintain optimal performance and security.

    As an alternative, we highly recommend using the WP Rocket plugin, a powerful caching solution that many of our customers have found beneficial. You can find more information and optimization tips here:
    https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-improve-wp-rocket-settings-with-xstore/

    Regarding your client’s suggestion to consider migrating to Shopify, please note that both WordPress and Shopify offer distinct advantages. WordPress provides greater flexibility and customization capabilities, while Shopify is a fully managed platform specifically tailored for eCommerce. If your primary focus is on speed, security, and minimal technical maintenance, Shopify could indeed be a suitable option. However, with proper optimization and a robust hosting environment, WordPress can also deliver excellent performance and security.

    Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or require additional assistance during this transition. We are here to support you every step of the way.
