    Hello,
    Hope you are doing fine

I am having a problem with my shop page.
The sale badge is not showing on the archive page.
It does show on the single product page but for some strange reason, it doesnt show in the shop page.

And, is there a way of showing the sales price in red?

    regards,

    Please, contact administrator

    Hello, Jennifer,

Thank you for reaching out to us. We hope you are doing well.

We recommend that you disable all third-party plugins that are not included with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/). After doing so, please clear your browser’s cache and check again. It is possible that one of these additional plugins is causing the issue.

If the problem persists, we suggest switching to the Parent theme if you are currently using the Child Theme on your site. After clearing the cache, check again. The issue may be due to your custom code in the Child Theme.

    Let us know the results.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Hello,

I tried all of that and yes, seams the problem is the child theme.
    How can I fix that?

    Dear @Jennifer,

We hope this message finds you well.

If you are planning to use the XStore Products Archive Builder, tutorial is available at the following link: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-builders/xstore-products-archive-builder-with-elementor/, we kindly suggest that you begin by testing the builder to determine whether the issue also be displayed with the Archive products widget for such builder provided by our theme.

If the issue persists, we would appreciate it if you could provide us with FTP access, as it is currently unclear why the label is not being displayed as expected.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

Additionally, we have observed that when using the parent theme, both the sale and regular prices are displayed for the product, as shown here: https://prnt.sc/vaI-xIXdD_rE. However, when using the child theme, only the sale price appears: https://prnt.sc/uoPysoqVvSyF. This discrepancy may be due to custom modifications or third-party plugins affecting the product price display.

We would be happy to investigate further once we have the necessary access and information.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson

    Thank you for the reply,

I have tested the site deactivating all plugins except woocommerce, and works fine.
The moment I activate the Xstore plugin, the sales price and badge stop working. Also, I checked that switching to the parent theme, it words correctly. I erased all the code I input on the child theme but still, is not working.
I am not planning on using the Shop builder

    Dear @Jennifer,

We hope this message finds you well.

It appears that the issue you encountered was related to caching. We kindly recommend disabling any cache plugins while your website is still under development, as they may interfere with real-time updates and changes.

We have checked the site, and the sale badge is now displaying correctly. Could you please verify on your end?

    Hello,

So, we had to resolve it by using the elementor builder because the client wasnt willing to wait for longer.
When we deactivate the buider, the shop page is still working very strange.

    Dear @Jennifer,

We hope this message finds you well.

We would like to kindly recommend using the Product Archive Builder, as it offers greater control and flexibility compared to the Theme Customizer.

For your reference, you can find detailed documentation here:

    Hello,

We are now planning on using the Builder, but we are not being able to change the SALE badge. In stead of OFERTA we want it to say SALE.
    But we cant chang it.
And when we install Loco translate, the sales bagde stop working and changed all our variable products into simple products.

We feel there are too many problems with the site we cannot understand what is going on.

    Hello,

So, We hve migrated the site to the domain: dimple.com.ar

Currently, the issue is on the Archive page.
Weather we use the theme archive or the theme builder by Elementor, the sales price is not showing on archive nor the sales badge on the Shop/archive page.
We had to use a plugin (Acowebs Product Labels For Woocommerce) to make the sales price appear and we use CSS to hide the sales price from the single product page so we dont have 2 badges, because we deactivated the sales badge but still was showing on the single product page.

The access are the same as the previous one

Can you please check what is the issue?
We cant make the sales price and the sales badge appear

the sales badge and the sales prices are not showing as it is shown on the category page.

    Dear @Jennifer,

We believe that the Stock Manager plugin was causing the issues you experienced.

It appears that the plugin generated its own product prices, which then overrode the default pricing set by the WooCommerce plugin. As a result, WooCommerce was unable to correctly identify whether products were on sale.

After disabling the Stock Manager plugin, the issues seem to have been resolved.

Could you please check on your end and confirm if everything is now working as expected?

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team
