Select your Shop page as products page in Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display.
Then add “Woocommerce Product Categories” and “Woocommerce Price Filter” widgets into “Products Page sidebar” area in Appearance > Widgets.

You can upload banner for Shop page in Xmarket – Theme Settings > Product Page section.

Yes, it will be overwritten after theme update.
In this case you need create child theme http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes and move the edited file to your child theme directory wp-content/themes/legenda-child/woocommerce/single-product.

I’ve set to show product category description in Settings > Store > Presentation tab > Product Category Settings > Show Product Category Description > Yes.
Please check product categories where you added description.

If you want to add some text to Portfolio page you need edit the file wp-content/themes/blanco/portfolio.php and write the content after line 43.
