    Hello, ziga32,

    Regarding your live website, please ensure that any additional caching plugins, such as WP Rocket, WP Super Cache, or W3 Total Cache, are also cleared.

    If you are using a CDN (Content Delivery Network), we kindly recommend clearing its cache as well to ensure all changes are properly reflected.

    Hello, Denurade,

    Please note that a category will only be displayed if it contains at least one product that is available for purchase. If there are no purchasable products within a category, it will not be shown. This is due to the way the category filter widget is designed—it only displays categories with products that can be bought.

    Hello, WaawStore,

    Thank you for providing access. Upon investigation, we have identified that the issue is being caused by the Rank Math SEO and Rank Math SEO PRO plugins. These plugins intercept all incoming requests to your server and either modify or redirect them. As a result, data coming from platforms such as Facebook or Google is lost, which in turn leads to authentication errors.

    To address this, we have temporarily disabled the mentioned plugins. We kindly ask you to review and verify the changes on your end.

    Hello, toba,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Unfortunately, at this time, there is no straightforward way to import data from your CSV file into our testimonials section, as our testimonials support only the following fields:

    – Gravatar E-mail Address
    – Byline
    – URL

    Based on the structure of your data, it appears to be more aligned with product reviews rather than standard testimonials.

    We kindly recommend that you contact our Customization Service team for further assistance. You can reach them via the following link:

    Dear Siddharth

    Thank you for your detailed message and for updating to the latest version of XStore. We truly appreciate your thorough feedback and your effort in analyzing performance on your end.

    We’d like to clarify a few important points regarding the theme’s structure and optimization:

    XStore is one of the most feature-rich and highly customizable themes on the market — and as you correctly noted, such flexibility naturally requires more resources compared to minimalist themes. With each update, we implement performance optimizations and fixes to improve both frontend and backend speed, and the recent update is no exception.

    That said, we’ve already implemented all feasible optimizations at this stage. Further improvements might result in a 10–20% gain, but it’s unlikely to produce a 2–3x speed boost as you may have hoped — unless we significantly reduce theme features, which would go against its core strength: deep customization.

    Regarding your specific questions:
    AJAX / Cron monitoring: You can use tools such as Query Monitor or Debug Bar plugins to trace active admin-ajax.php requests or background tasks. If needed, we can assist in guiding you through this process.
    Disabling heavy features: XStore does not load pre-built demos or importers on the live frontend or admin unless triggered manually.
    Profiling theme hooks: We recommend using tools like the Query Monitor plugin to check slow hooks or long-running SQL queries. Additionally, you can use WP Crontrol to view or manage background cron jobs.
    If you’d like, feel free to share temporary admin access or performance logs — we’d be glad to analyze them and offer tailored suggestions.

    Thank you again for your commitment to optimizing your site. We’ll do our best to support you every step of the way.

    Kind regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Dear Siddharth,

    Thank you for your detailed message and for providing insights into your server environment and optimization efforts.

    We have recently made further improvements to the theme archives, which may help address some of the performance concerns you’ve mentioned. We kindly ask you to re-upload the updated theme files to your website. However, before proceeding with the update, we strongly recommend creating a full backup of your website to ensure all your data and customizations are safely preserved.

    Regarding the high resource usage you’ve observed, we appreciate your proactive monitoring and the information shared. While we continue to investigate potential causes, updating to the latest version may help mitigate some of the issues. If the problem persists after the update, please let us know — we’ll be happy to assist you further in identifying any theme-related processes that could be contributing to the load.

    We value your collaboration and are committed to helping you achieve optimal performance.

    Hello, ziga32,

    We would like to inform you that the error is currently visible on the homepage. You can easily reproduce it by simply scrolling down to the bottom of the page.

    At the moment, we can confirm that the product is being displayed correctly in the search results.

    Additionally, we strongly advise against making direct changes to the database. Doing so may disrupt the proper execution of WooCommerce hooks. For example, when updating product stock quantities, multiple related values are affected—not just the stock count. If you choose to proceed with direct database modifications, it is essential to clear the WooCommerce caches to ensure proper functionality.

    To do this, please navigate to WooCommerce → Status → Tools and clear the following:

    – WooCommerce transients
    – Expired transients
    – Term counts
    – Brands transients

    Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Hi Abhinandan,

    First of all, thank you for reaching out to us.

    To begin addressing the performance issues, we kindly ask you to use the provided archives and monitor the CPU and RAM usage over the course of one day. This will help us better understand the current resource consumption and identify any potential bottlenecks.

    Once we have this information and the initial issue is resolved, we will be happy to proceed with the next steps to further optimize your website’s performance.

    Aslo don’t forget to clear your log file to make it empty after update of core and theme files and tomorrow please send us new log file.

    Please feel free to share any additional details or ask any questions regarding your website statistics — we are here to assist you and aim to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

    Dear Hassan,

    Thank you for providing the required credentials.

    We have made some changes on our end. Please take some time to check the website again tomorrow to see the improvements. If you are using a CDN, we recommend clearing its cache to ensure the latest updates are reflected. If you are not currently using a CDN, we suggest considering one, as it can significantly improve the frontend loading speed—especially if your server is located far from Google’s testing servers.

    Dear Abhinandan,

    Thank you for your message.

    Please kindly provide us with more details regarding the errors you are experiencing. Could you let us know exactly what kind of errors are occurring and, if possible, send us screenshots of the issue? This will help us better understand the situation and assist you more effectively.

    Additionally, we kindly ask you to enable the WordPress debug mode so we can review the log files for any related errors. Once enabled, please send us the debug.log file located in the /wp-content/ directory.

    To enable debug mode in WordPress, please follow these steps:

    1. Connect to your website via FTP or use your hosting file manager.
    2. Locate the wp-config.php file in the root directory of your WordPress installation.
    3. Open the wp-config.php file in a text editor.
    4. Find the line that says:
    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
    5. Change it to:
    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
    define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);
    define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);
    6. Save the changes and re-upload the file if necessary.

    This will enable debug mode and create a debug.log file in the /wp-content/ folder, which will record any errors or warnings generated by your site.

    We appreciate your efforts in troubleshooting this and look forward to receiving the requested information so we can further investigate and assist you.

    Thank you for your message and for providing the screenshot.

    We kindly recommend disabling any unnecessary widgets in Elementor, as they may be contributing to the high resource usage. Please also ensure that you create a full backup of your website before proceeding.

    Additionally, we would appreciate it if you could provide us with valid access credentials (WordPress admin and FTP) so that our team can assist you further. We will then attempt to upload the latest version of the theme and core plugin to help optimize your website’s performance.

    Should you have any questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

    Please be informed that the following files have been modified:

    et-core-plugin/app/models/widgets/categories-filter.php
    et-core-plugin/app/controllers/elementor/general/categories-lists.php

    These changes will be included in the next theme update. You do not need to worry about these files being overwritten, as they are part of the plugin and cannot be replaced via a child theme or by any other means.
