Hi!
Since the last WooCommerce update (7.0.0) and xStore theme (8.3.5) the 8theme – Swatches filter (widget) only shows in the sidebar in the shop page but not in the category pages.
Shop: https://www.rugstk.com/shop/
Category: https://www.rugstk.com/category/rugs/indoor-outdoor/
I have tried all solutions mentioned here without success:
https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/27419
Any ideas?
Hello,
Provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access, so we can take a closer look.

Hi Rose, find credentials in private area, thank you!
Sorry please try again
Hello,
Thanks for the credentials.
You are using a lot of plugins and some changes were done in the child theme. Please check the next:
– try to disable all the third-party plugins (including cache plugins), that do not come bundled with XStore https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins , clear the cache of the browser, and check then. Maybe one of the additional plugins is the reason for the problem.
– check if the problem isn’t caused by your changes in the Child theme.

Hello,
Sorry for the delay in answering.
We’ve checked the situation with widgets when a default theme (not XStore) is activated on your site, and the issue persists https://prnt.sc/PKOA3qrwTA2o https://prnt.sc/QL96-7I__Uux here is video – https://drive.google.com/file/d/185xeD4OvTuXcd3ejEXpiTI2wnIkQv4Vg/view?usp=sharing
It means the situation is independent of our theme.
A possible version of this:
– it is not allowed for slugs of attributes ( https://prnt.sc/ocFerMYzxQSn ) to be the same as in the taxonomy https://prnt.sc/6amHbufzjw5u , otherwise, neither one nor the other will work
so here the brand needs to be renamed – https://prnt.sc/ocFerMYzxQSn
if there is another such coincidence, rename them as well
if there are custom product attributes created in the same way as in the video – https://drive.google.com/file/d/15yvvwubojHK5_–FipNpX7ocPifk943P/view?usp=sharing (local attributes which are same to global attributes which already exists) they also need to be removed, they can break the filters
To get further assistance with this problem, contact the support of WooCommerce plugin, because as was mentioned, this problem is independent of our theme.
Regards
Alright thanks a lot for the info Rose.
Could you send me this again?
https://drive.google.com/file/d/15yvvwubojHK5_%E2%80%93FipNpX7ocPifk943P/view?usp=sharing
It says it does not exist.
Also one more question, do you know why the filters work in the shop page but not in the category pages? its very rare dont you think?
Shop: https://www.rugstk.com/shop/
Category: https://www.rugstk.com/category/rugs/indoor-outdoor/
Here is the new link to the video – https://drive.google.com/file/d/15yvvwubojHK5_–FipNpX7ocPifk943P/view?usp=sharing
We don’t know, unfortunately. It is really strange, but what we can say for sure, our theme is not the reason for the problem.
Regards
