Hello. With regards to licenses and domains, please can you tell me… if I remove the www part of the domain will XStore think its a new domain requiring a new license, or does it treat https://www.mydomain.com the same as https://mydomain.com?

I have to agree. The import of the jewellery demo does not work. When I manually import the jewellery options.json file found in the xml folder that comes with the theme, it does not import the correct settings into Theme Options. The header, background etc is all wrong. You are shipping the wrong options.json files on quite a few demo’s with XStore. I have mentioned this for others. The OP on this thread told you so in September, and you still have the wrong options.json file for XStore version 4.7.1 two months later. Please, can you also send me the correct one? Will provide my email address in a hidden section of the message.

OK, solved it by deleting the post with Soundcloud in, which affect other pages with a sidebar with it showing.

I’ve worked out that the error relates to another post which had a soundcloud link, but was showing in the sidebar as a thumbnail to the other post. So even though the correct Soundcloud link is in the other post, it still throwing up an error on the console.

** UPDATE ** I think now I should be able to work out how to do the text mask image myself. I found a video you uploaded for me a year ago titled “Video mask.mp4” which shows me how to do it in relation to the “Default Red” variant of the Xstore theme. I’ll try and follow those instructions myself, it should be the same. I’m assuming the font is Lato.

Thank you for the help. I edited slide 1 and disabled the wave loop animation and that has worked. Slide 1 now displays as your demo now. Thanks. This suggests that the slideshow you are shipping with the theme for the Organic variant has a glitch which should be corrected for future releases.
With regards to the PSD… I opened the Food “01 Home.psd” file. The layer within the file I am referring to is the “02 Banner” layer. However, I am unable to change the text “ORGANIC”. Within the slideshow itself, it’s an image mask. I would like to know how to create this. Do you have instructions?
I noticed that in the slideshow the image masks used for Slide 1 is the file mask1-2.png. This file is 1170x600px. I want to create this from scratch with the same font but different words for each slide in the slideshow. Opening the file “01 Home.psd” did not allow me to alter the large text “ORGANIC”. There must be a number of steps I can follow to do this myself, please? Also, let me know which font was used please since you can’t tell from the .psd file since it’s not editable. I think the font may be “Lato”?

I already know how to tweak slideshow setting for Slider Revolution. When I am editing slide 1, the slide preview plays as it should, but on the Homepage the slide changes to blank after a fraction of a second. I do not know what is causing this. Can you please email me the exact slideshow used in your demo, since the one that shipped with the theme has an issue.
In addition, can you also respond to my other question regarding how to change the text? Please read my first post re PSD files. You cannot just type the text into Slider Revolution. You will need to look at your demo to see what I mean. The text appears to be a cut-out mask with an image behind it. I would like to know how to create that text. Do you have instructions, please? I feel that you may not have read my questions at all.

Note, I already have a plugin called “WooCommerce Product Catalog Mode”:-
This would normally allow me to do what I need to do, but XStore seems to conflict with this plugin and it does not work either. As an option, is there a way to delete XStore’s catalog funcionality completely so I can use “WooCommerce Product Catalog Mode” instead, since there are more options with this plugin to allow variable product options in its catalogue mode?

OK, so I upgraded the theme version to v3.9. It has still not fixed the problem with the header layout for the Cosmetics theme variant that i described above.
Please can you kindly look into this? You stated that the issue has been fixed, but it hasn’t. When I import the options.json file for Cosmetics, it imports entirely the wrong header settings now. You have the wrong options.json file in your theme folder. i already mentioned this before, but you have not fixed this?

I downloaded the file you sent me. Windows 10 Defender detected malware in the file. This has not happened on any of the other xStore versions.
I see v3.9 is now available on Themeforest, so will use that one.

Understood. What I don’t understand is why this problem happens with xstore and not all other themes though. I can name several WordPress themes that I don’t have this issue with. But from now on, I won’t include folder name changes for every version. Hopefully overwriting the contents as you mention will solve it.

Can you confirm that you have actually tested the fix your end?
In addition to the above. When I import the options.json for Cosmetics that comes with v3.8.1, it imports the wrong colour scheme and settings. You have included the incorrect one with the theme. I happened to have a backup from earlier that was provided to me by your Live support chat a while ago which works, except for the header now looking wrong after the recent updates.

This also happened to me. Whatever theme I use, I always change the theme folder name in order to ‘white-label’ the theme and set it to something related to the site itself (as well as references to the new folder name within style.css). The folder name also changes as I add the version number on the end to know what version is installed. When I updated xstore before I didn’t have problems every time, but this time all the sidebars and widget areas disappeared or appeared in the wrong places. Something about updating from v3.8 to 3.8.1 was messed up. I don’t generally have problems with most other WordPress themes, but XStore seems to be problematic sometimes when updating. I think that your development team should take into account that some of us change the theme folder name from xstore to something we choose related to the site.
To fix this, I find that I have to “activate” the theme variant again, and then import my own saved options.json exported file to reinstate colour changes. I also have screenshots of where all the widget areas are supposed to be so I can move them back to the right position. Its a pain to do this every update to be honest. it shouldn’t have to be this way just because you have a different folder name or introduce versioning to the folder name.

Update – OK, I just got it to work. Somehow there was a letter “o” instead of zero “0” after copy and paste into custom css.
One more thing… which lines to remove padding at the top? Is it this?…

The problem was the debug tab was hidden until the above URL is entered into the browser.
One more thing. The 8theme call to action that comes with the theme is greatly lacking, that is why I went with the button on Ultimate Addons instead and created my own call to action Row with text and a button.

I am not sure how to do this? Enabling Visual Composer itself for Static Blocks is easy, you just tick a box in VC Settings -> Role Manager. I can;t see any feature in the Ultimate Addons to ensure that its enabled for all pages / static blocks. Can you please describe how?

I have added the above snippet of code to custom css, but the white space gap is still there. I tried after clearing the browser cache also.
I then tried again by adding !important, but still still doesn’t work.
Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner, but I actually managed to work this out straight after I asked the question. And you did help me with a few Photoshop queries extensively in the past on the live chat, hence I asked. But I do understand that’s not part of the support you provide for themes. 🙂 And I understand that since many more people have purchsed the theme since then that you can;t possibly stretch to answering those types of things anymore. Understood, no worries.

I wonder if you can provide instructions for extracting layers from a PSD file. Specifically, the home page psd for Marketing has three tiled images with text. I want to extract each tile as a seperate PSD file to change the images and text.
Some months ago, I was given instructions on how to achieve this on your live chat service, but unfortunately, this has now disappeared.
