On some of your theme variants of XStore, on each page in the pre-footer area is some text relating to MailChimp and a MailChimp form. Since I do not want to use MailChimp at this time, I prefer to have a button linking to the Contact Page of the site. I altered the Static Block used in the pre-footer area to remove the MailChimp form and replaced it with an “Advanced Button” from Ultimate VC Addons.

The problem is this with the button. When this row is placed directly in a page, the button styling shows up correctly, however, when the row is placed in a Static Block and that block selected in the Pre-footer widget, the styling for the button, specified in the controls for the Advanced Button disappears, and is over-ridden by something else. The button no longer appears as it should when in a Static Block. There is some sort of conflict with the styling for Static blocks, since the Advanced Button appears correctly when placed directly in a page itself.

Please can you kindly investigate this and provide a fix?

    Regards

    Hello,

Ultimate Addons has control of the element on page and only if page has the element then scripts of UA work. Static Block is theme feature and UA does not check the static block. Our theme does not include this plugin that’s why it does not have option to enable UA scripts by default for all the pages. To make Advanced button work you need to call appropriate script for all the pages by additional customization.

    Hi Olga

    You stated:-

“To make Advanced button work you need to call appropriate script for all the pages by additional customization.”

I am not sure how to do this? Enabling Visual Composer itself for Static Blocks is easy, you just tick a box in VC Settings -> Role Manager. I can;t see any feature in the Ultimate Addons to ensure that its enabled for all pages / static blocks. Can you please describe how?

    Regards

OK, after doing some research, I found this discussion on another site:-

    Load scripts globally solution

This describes how to view and enable a hidden debug setting to load scripts globally.

For anyone else who needs this solution, read this…

Steps to Turn ON Load scripts globally

    1. Put this in your browser address – yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ultimate-dashboard&author
    2. Turn ON the Load scripts globally switch, under debug tab

The problem was the debug tab was hidden until the above URL is entered into the browser.

One more thing. The 8theme call to action that comes with the theme is greatly lacking, that is why I went with the button on Ultimate Addons instead and created my own call to action Row with text and a button.

    Hello,

You may use any plugin you want. Ofter, not always, plugin or theme should be additionally customized to work together. I’m glad that you sorted out.

    Regards
