1. You can delete Product Images/Thumbnails Width and Height in Theme Option, then go to Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display and change Product Image settings. Use hard crop if you want to crop images. Then regenerate thumbnails with the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

2. Zoom shows the real size of images, so please try to add images with the bigger dimensions.

If you want to create multilingual site you should use either WPML plugin (paid plugin) or one of free plugins – Polylang, qTranslate. Then you’ll be able to add language switcher and create products, categories, pages for both languages.
