When we go to the products page in the backend from the dashboard it loads very very slowly. It takes a very long time to make any edits to the products when we have to wait sometimes over a minute for the page to load each time.

Is there something we can do to speed this up? I have already used WP-Optimize to clean up data, but that does not seem to help.

    Hello,

Please, make sure that you have updated all the included plugins to latest versions https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/
Try to disable 3-rd party plugins (means the plugins that are not included in the theme package are not in the list of required plugins), then check your issue.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

Thanks, Rose. I have tried this in the past, and it does help to some degree. I am leaving the plug-ins that I use only occasionally (WP-All Import, for example) deactivated until I need them. This does seem to speed things a bit.

I was wondering if there is anything else you could recommend in addition to this?

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay.
Do you face such problem with default theme too (Storefront)?

    Regards,

Not sure what you mean. We are using Woopress, but I never used the default Storefront theme. The original website person installed Woopress and I have simply continued with it.

    Hello,

Such problem with the backend, very likely, does not relate to the theme. We able to help in case problem appears with our theme only. So you need to make sure that the problem occurs because of woopress theme, so install and enable default WC theme Storefront and check if this issue persists.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.
