Do you have this problem with parent theme also? Did you check the issue with default WC theme – Storefront?
Please try to disable all 3-rd party plugins (means the plugins that are not included in the theme package are not in the list of required plugins) and then check.
If the situation won’t change please provide temporary wp-admin access to check a reason of such displaying.

Yes, to prevent losing your changes after theme update you need to transfer changes into child theme https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

What theme version do you need? I can send it to your email.

Also, latest version you may find on ThemeForest (log in with your Envato account credentials and free download the latest version in Downloads section).
