In your case, I would recommend you split image and texts. Use for the row bg only image without text and then add to this row texts or images of the texts. Or use Revolutions slider with layout Scene https://www.themepunch.com/slider-revolution/module-layout/ and create single-scene Module with a nice view for different devices.

1) I see, nope, unfortunately, our theme does not have option to show the popup for the home page only.

2) If the new account notification is enabled in the WooCommerce settings http://prntscr.com/szmc78 but the user still does not get the email then contact your hosting provider and ask them about mail server error logs. It will help to understand what is the reason of the problem. Also, try to switch to default theme and create new account. Do you get notification email when the default WP theme is enabled?

1) Why do you keep Elementor plugin enabled if you use WPBakery page builder as the main builder for your content? It increases the size of the pages because of additional styles and scripts and increases the page loading time. So, decide what page builder you want to use and reactive the other one. Also, check the other plugins that you keep activated. Do you know if that developer made changes in parent theme template files? Because I don’t see any files except empty functions.php and style.css in the child theme but at first look (can’t tell you more without FTP) theme structure looks different. We won’t be able to update the theme in case the parent theme files were changed because all this customization will be gone.

Cart, check out, my account pages do not have options to change the mentioned things. Use the Yellow pencil plugin if you want to change the styles on these pages (font-size, colors). If you want to change the content (blocks position, edit billing fields on the checkout) you need additional PHP customization.
