    Dear @Slava,

We hope this message finds you well.

We would like to bring to your attention that while some of our clients are experiencing correct translations with the latest WordPress version, others are encountering issues. It appears that we are not the only ones facing translation challenges following the recent WordPress 6.7.0 update. You can find further details and discussions on this matter here: https://www.8theme.com/topic/translation-not-working-in-french-need-help/#post-423673.

In light of this, we kindly suggest trying to install the previous version of WordPress to see if this resolves the issue.

Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Dear @feeldesign,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We understand that you believe the issue you are experiencing began after recent updates to the XStore theme. However, upon reviewing the website you shared, we noticed that it is currently running version 9.1.13 of our theme (https://prnt.sc/-6eWwQv-Yx2P), which was released on August 10, 2023. (Please refer to this screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/ycm-YY1i4bwL).

Given this information, it appears that the issue may not be directly related to the XStore theme. Instead, it could be associated with one of the plugins installed on your website. For instance, we noticed that the ShortPixel plugin, which modifies images, is active on your site. It’s possible that certain settings within this plugin, or changes made by one of your site managers, could be contributing to the issue.

We kindly request that you check with your site managers to confirm if any recent changes were made to image-related settings. Additionally, we would like to remind you that the version of the XStore theme currently installed on your site is slightly outdated. Updating to the latest version may help address any compatibility concerns.

Lastly, we recommend reaching out to your hosting provider to verify if there are any server configurations in place that might automatically crop images.

Please let us know if you need further assistance or clarification. We are here to help.

    Dear @jinxlo,

We hope this message finds you well.

It appears that the issue with the colors on your header elements is being caused by the custom CSS applied to your header containers. You can refer to the following screenshot for more details: https://prnt.sc/uwUaUuOk7NZy.

Additionally, we are currently unable to review or address the issue directly, as the access credentials you previously provided are no longer valid. We kindly request that you attempt to resolve the issue on your end using the information provided in the screenshot.

If you encounter any further challenges or have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us here. We’ll be more than happy to assist you.

    Dear @sethr,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

To clarify, the issue you are experiencing is related to the default Elementor widget, and the same behavior would occur even if another theme were activated. Regarding your specific question, the image you are using is 300px in size, and you are attempting to crop it into a square while styling it at 300px. The resulting blur is due to the image’s original quality.

To improve the image quality, we recommend cropping it to 500px (as retina) and then styling it at 300px. This adjustment should result in a much sharper image. We have already applied these settings to the first widget on your “About Us” page. You can review the changes here:
    https://prnt.sc/vMgl3YgTjjU4
    https://prnt.sc/CBZKrqy8DCyZ

Please take a moment to review the current settings and let us know if they align with your expectations both visually and functionally.

If you require further customization, feel free to submit a request through our customization panel here: https://www.8theme.com/account/#etheme_customization_panel.

    Dear @Darren62,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We regret to inform you that the conflict you are experiencing can only be resolved by enabling either our built-in Email Builder or the one provided by the plugin. Unfortunately, using both builders simultaneously for the same purpose will inevitably lead to compatibility issues.

While we have made efforts to implement compatibility between the two, it has proven to be unfeasible. To ensure a smoother workflow, we recommend proceeding with the solution that best aligns with your requirements.

Should you decide to move forward with a different option, we have provided a link in the Private Content area where you can submit a refund request, should you wish to do so.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.

    Dear @Sam,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We would like to inform you that success messages are not displayed when the login or registration process is completed through the off-canvas content. If it is essential for you to have these messages displayed, we recommend deactivating the off-canvas account element in your header content. This will ensure redirection to the “My Account” page, where such notifications are visible.

Regarding your second inquiry, unfortunately, the requested functionality is not available by default. To achieve this, you may consider requesting additional customization through the following link: https://www.8theme.com/account/#etheme_customization_panel. Alternatively, you could explore third-party plugins that offer similar features.

Should you have any further questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Dear @DonDigital,

We hope this message finds you well.

We have reviewed the issue regarding the tabs layout on mobile devices and can confirm that it has been successfully resolved. Kindly clear your browser cache and verify the fix on your end.

Regarding the 500 error encountered while saving the page, we recommend referring to the following article from Elementor for guidance: https://elementor.com/help/500-error/.

    Dear @Darren62,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

If you are utilizing multiple builders with similar features to create custom email templates, it is logical to expect potential conflicts. To avoid such issues, we recommend selecting the builder that best meets your needs and deactivating the others.

In the meantime, we will consult with our developers to assess compatibility and address this matter further. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

    Dear @Plethora,

We hope this message finds you well.

After reviewing the issue, we can confirm that the loading speed of the checkout page in another language is indeed slower than expected. Since your website is currently live, we strongly recommend creating a staging environment for testing purposes. This will allow us to conduct thorough tests with alternative themes and explore potential solutions without affecting your live site.

To set up a staging website, please reach out to your hosting provider and request assistance with this process. Once the staging site is ready, kindly share the WordPress admin access with us. This will enable us to investigate and address the issue without any risk to your live website.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

    Dear @Janina,

We hope this message finds you well.

Please note that updating the theme will result in a complete rewrite of the files within the parent XStore theme folder. Therefore, we strongly advise against making any modifications directly to these files.

For any customizations, we recommend utilizing the child theme. The files in the child theme will remain unaffected by the XStore theme update, as only the parent theme folder files are overwritten during the update process. As such, you do not need to worry about any changes to your child theme when updating XStore.

Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Dear @MonnaChu,

I hope this message finds you well.

In the FTP information you provided, it appears that the password field currently states: “Password: The one you set up for this account.” This seems to be incorrect and should be replaced with the actual password associated with the account. Kindly review and update this information accordingly.

Additionally, the issue you are experiencing might be related to the time limit for loading, which is currently set to 120 seconds (https://prnt.sc/8DPeY0X2plzV). This is the minimum time required by our theme. We recommend increasing this limit and testing again to see if the issue persists.

Furthermore, we kindly ask you to check if the problem occurs when using a default theme, such as Storefront. Please note that a “Server Error 500” typically indicates an issue on the server side rather than with the theme or plugin code. In such cases, we suggest reaching out to your hosting provider for further assistance.

As a reminder, our support is dedicated to addressing issues specifically related to our products. If the problem is confirmed to be a bug within our theme or plugins, we will gladly assist you. However, issues outside the scope of our products fall beyond our support boundaries.

Thank you for your understanding, and please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Dear @ryanasm81,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Upon review, we have identified a bug in the IDs field of our product widgets. This field should not support dynamic tags, as there is no need for such functionality, nor are there any tags intended to be dynamically set in this field.

We kindly ask you to disregard the dynamic option in this field for now. Please rest assured that we will address this issue and include the necessary modifications for the IDs fields in the Products grid, list, and carousel widgets in our next update.

We sincerely appreciate your diligence in identifying and reporting this bug, as it allows us to improve our product. In the meantime, if you need to display specific custom products, you can simply type the product titles and select the desired products from the list generated by your search input.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

    Dear @PS,

We hope this message finds you well.

It has come to our attention that you have made modifications to the folder names of both the parent and child themes. Due to these changes, the default update functionality is unable to process the update automatically.

To update the XStore theme under these circumstances, please follow the steps outlined below:

    1. Log in to your account on the 8theme.com website and download the latest theme archive from the “Downloads” section.
    2. Unzip the downloaded archive directly on your server in wp-content/themes/ folder.
    3. Rename the existing parent theme folder by adding a prefix (e.g., “-old”) to its name.
    4. Rename the newly unzipped folder to match the original name of your brand’s parent theme folder.

Please note that we generally do not recommend making such modifications to theme folder names, as it can lead to complications with updates and functionality. However, since these changes have already been made, the above steps are the only solution to proceed with the update.

Additionally, the notices you are currently seeing can be disregarded. These notices are appearing because the system is unable to detect the original parent theme due to the custom folder name you have set.

Should you have any further questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

    Dear @montse,

We hope this message finds you well.

We would like to inform you that the fatal error on your single product page was caused by an incorrect translation setting within the WPML string translations. You can refer to the issue here: https://prnt.sc/mdynMocRlWVV

For this instance, we have implemented a fix, and the page is now loading correctly. We kindly request you to review it at your convenience to ensure everything is functioning as expected.

Moving forward, we recommend exercising caution when translating strings, especially if they contain specific symbols. Omitting or altering such symbols in the translated version can lead to similar errors. Please note that this issue is not related to our theme but rather to the translation process itself, particularly when translations are created quickly without thorough review.

Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Dear @ssoz,

We hope this message finds you well.

Upon attempting to enable the debug mode on your website, we encountered an issue. Specifically, we noticed that the content of the “wp-config.php” file in the Plesk file manager appears to be corrupted, containing errors. Unfortunately, this prevents us from activating the debug mode and thoroughly reviewing the errors you mentioned.

Please note that we are able to investigate and address issues related to our theme or plugins. However, we are unable to resolve issues originating from third-party plugins, as indicated in your error log (e.g., wpml-sticky-links, wpml-cms-nav).

To proceed, we kindly ask that you activate the debug log and keep it enabled while we work on resolving the issue related to our theme.

    Dear @ryanasm81,

We hope this message finds you well.

Upon attempting to log in to your website, we encountered the message: “This site is currently undergoing scheduled maintenance.” (https://prnt.sc/tu6iTz0odrnX) As a result, we are currently unable to access the site to review or address any issues.

Regarding the “dynamic tags” feature, please note that it is built using the Elementor PRO plugin. We have added a few custom fields from our XStore theme that should be simply displayed in the list as other options. Once the maintenance mode is lifted, we recommend checking whether the dynamic tags feature is functioning correctly across all widgets, not just the one you previously tested. Additionally, it would be helpful to verify if the feature works with default Elementor widgets when using a default theme, such as Storefront.

We would be happy to assist in checking this for you once the site is accessible again.

    Dear @luzactual,

We hope this message finds you well.

The string in question, “Up to %” has been present in the translations for quite some time and is available for translation or removal of the “Up to” prefix, as shown in the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/zcABlHvf_bw_. This change has already been implemented on your website.

The reason you may not have been able to locate this string recently is due to a lack of synchronization of your translations. This has resulted in older versions of the strings being retained, similar to cached versions.

Upon visiting your website, we noticed that the header menu does not provide an option to select a different language, as shown in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/e6mrDE72MXSs. In your video, the URL starts with “yourwebsite.com/ar/”, indicating the Arabic version of the site. However, when we access the website, it opens without the “/ar/” postfix, as demonstrated in the screenshot. Furthermore, the menu item shown in your video does not offer any options to switch to the Arabic language.
