Sorry for a delay.
The problem is caused by one of your 3rd-party plugins. When I disabled them all and kept only the required ones, there was no issue on Checkout page. Try to check it yourself. You can deactivate the plugins one by one to find out what is causing the issue.

I’ve edited the code and now the border isn’t shown.
To add phone number in the header you have to edit header.php file.
We recommend to use child theme https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/2_child_theme and make modifications with files there in order not to lose the changes after theme update.

1. You don’t need copy custom.css to child theme folder. You can make style changes in style.css file of the child theme.
2. Yes, you’re right.
3. You don’t need move .po files to the child theme directory. They work only in a parent theme. Also your .po/.mo files in the parent theme won’t be overwritten after the theme update. So you shouldn’t worry.
