1. You can set your own custom sizes for slider in the settings I showed on screenshot.

4. I’ve added Product Categories element on home page and set to show 9 categories (so 3 columns per 3 rows). Check home page now. You need also add images for your categories in Products > Categories > edit a category > upload image in “Thumbnail” field.

To get drop down menu like on our demo you need create parent submenu items for “Shop by region” menu and add child items for them. I’ve changed submenu items location for “Shop by region” menu in Appearance > Menus. Please check the menu now.

Unfortunately we can’t find any issues with our theme.
Also you can contact your hosting provider support to check error_log file to investigate what exactly is causing the issue.
