Hi,
I don’t want to remove Google Tag Manager, I only just installed it today. It’s that particular code snippet only that I want to remove. It isn’t part of the Tag Manager but it is interfering with the way Tag Manager works. I checked the header settings but i can’t access that and I do already have a child theme.
I attach some temporary details for wp-admin & FTP.
Thanks, Debbie
I have already done all that. I cannot find it anywhere. No customs scripts added in functions or custom css.
I have just installed Google Tag Manager today because i was hoping it would remove any other reference to gtag but it hasn’t. Is it not possible to access the main Theme file template and remove it as it’s on all pages?
Seems the string I entered won’t upload here.
Thanks for the support! My topic “Search Bar Results not displaying correctly” has been successfully resolved.
Hi,
Yes I’ve tried that. That is actually worse, I tested it using ‘red suspender belts’ which displayed only 1 red one on the results page. There were a mixture of other colours plus stockings, knickers and bras mixed in with the results. It is also very slow to show results, lots of spinning circles.
Then i tested the search box on the blog posts which now brings up products instead of just posts. for now, i have had to enable ‘posts’ in the search again.
How can I make this search return more relevant results that customers are looking for?
Thanks, Debbie
Hi, Yes that stops the ‘blog’ style layout thank you, but the results show 120 products whereas there should only be about 20.
The search picks up every word in the sentence typed – i.e. everything ‘black’ ect. So the results show stockings, gloves, anything that is black. Is there a way of making the search perform better?
Thanks for the support! My topic “Layout of Blog posts has changed and cannot be edited” has been successfully resolved.
Oh right, thanks. That must have been part of the optimization work i had done. I have never even seen those options in your screenshot.
As I have been using this same theme for many years the site seems to have become ‘bloated’ and runs really slow. Do you have any tips to help reduce this?
Can I turn the Siteground Dynamic caching back on now if it was not anything to do with that?
Thanks, Debbie
Hi, I have asked Siteground to turn off all dynamic caching which they have done. However, the issue still remains although i have re-saved the blog posts and cleared SG and Cloudflare caches.
Hi, I have just checked and these settings are not available within Siteground. The only option in there is to turn off Memcached completely. The other settings only seem to be available in the SpeedOptimizer Plugin.
Pages layouts remain okay, it is just ‘Posts’ that are causing the layout issue.
Thanks, Debbie
Hi,
The staging is a copy of the live site so all settings are/were the same.
The posts were displaying correctly on the live site, but something recently must have changed.
I attach login details for both sites.
Thanks, Debbie

Thanks for the support! My topic “Changing YITH Wishlist to Xstore Wishlist Doesn’t Display Properly to Logged in Users” has been successfully resolved.
Hi, I have tried to change it on the staging site so you would not have seen any changes on live site anyway.
I want to create a new homepage in Gutenberg, I have tried for 2 days to modify with WPBakery but I find that extremely confusing.
On the website swankypins.co.uk – I want to change only the Content of the homepage. The top bar, menus and footer ect. will all stay the same. It’s extremely slow loading so I need to replace the slide. Then most sections underneath the slide need to be changed and i want to use larger images. At the moment, the images display around 300px but I want them bigger.
I could do all this in Gutenberg but it doesn’t seem to spread the size of the page to full width.
Thanks, Debbie
Hi, i have tried this but the main homepage image is cropped even when I enter the exact 1900 width. As it’s a homepage I want it to be the entire width of the screen. How do I get the entire page to be full width instead of limited. Thanks Debbie

Thanks for the support! My topic “Removing payment options from cart page due to spam orders” has been successfully resolved.
Hi, Yes thank you. All payment options are removed.
However, I am still getting all the spam orders via Paypal even though it’s no longer available anywhere except the checkout which is reCaptcha protected. I don’t understand how they are getting through, I’ve tested this and I can’t make any payment without checking the recaptcha. Any ideas? Debbie
Hi
I have managed to remove the Paypal button using Paypals own plugin but I need to remove all the payment options to avoid spammers using them. So the cart should just show the ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button.
Thanks, Debbie

Thanks for the support! My topic “Adding a Sub-Category under a Category on the Main Menu” has been successfully resolved.
All good thanks 🙂 I’ve added the rest of the menus.
Just one more thing, you used to offer customization services but the link does not appear to work now. Are you still offering this service? I am looking to redesign the homepage as I have demo content from the original template I installed and I do not know how to change the layout.
Debbie
Hi,
Yes, what you have done (creating the sub-category for 6 strap suspender belt) is what I was trying to do.
As I mentioned previously, the changes I made were on the staging site so you would not have seen this on the live site.
So how do i continue making the rest of the sub-categories (8 strap, 10 strap ect.) and adding them to the primary menu as you have done with the 6 strap.
Thanks, Debbie
Hi,
You can see in the screenshot that I have created a sub-category ‘6 strap suspender belts’ which I have added under the Category ‘Suspender Belts’.
This should appear as a sub-category on the website under the Category ‘Suspender Belts’ – see https://prnt.sc/fhUUBItMyc2n
What do I have to do to make this appear correctly?
Thanks, Debbie
Hi,
I have done that but the sub-menu is still not displaying on the site. Is this not correct https://prnt.sc/7vZs1MZwYUWi
THanks, Debbie
These are the steps I have taken (on my staging site):
Products/Categories – Made a New Category and Chosen the Parent Category as ‘Suspender Belts’.
Named the New Category ‘6 Strap Suspender Belts’.
This should now be a sub-category of the Main Category ‘Suspender Belts’.
I have added one product to this category.
The category is now there. With one product in.
All I need to do is get this sub-category to show under Menu Shop > Suspender Belt > 6 strap suspender belts. (Then I will add more sub-categories for 8 strap, 10 strap ect.)
Surely there must be an easy way to achieve this?
Alternatively, how can I set up a filter for ‘Number of Straps’ which I can add to the sidebar of the Category Page?
You won’t see any changes on the live site but the login details are attached.
