    Hi. That is already enabled

    Like I have explained in my original message the actual items and the cart are ok

    BUT the displayed number is not loaded with ajax so therefore it gets page cached

    Again , this is very important … the items and the cart are ok … it is only the fact that if the homepage(or any other page) gets cached from a browsing session with 0 items in cart … if a customer enters the homepage and he has 3 items in cart then the minicart will show 0 at first ( because that was page cached ) and then after 1-2 seconds max it will switch back to 3 ( his actual number )

    I am not sure how to explain it better

    I have added the logins in the private area

    Also I have noticed that your theme already has an icon for X instead of the trash can 🙂 But it is hidden by the theme css. I did not find any option to switch to that icon

    you will see an with the class et-icon et-delete et-remove-type1 right before the trash can icon 🙂
    but it has display none set by the theme

    What I need to do:
    1. Show the X ( non animated ) instead of the animated trashcan
    2. On mobile always show the X and not just on hover please. This is important

    Hi
    This changes the trash can to an X, thank you
    But it is still only displayed on hover. So the main problem remains on mobile, the fact that there is no remove option displayed … until you touch the screen somewhere near where it should appear

    So, the hover effect remains.

    Can I make it please to always show ?

    You can do the following:
    Add this custom code into your functions file or use a code snippet plugin to add it

    // Add shortcode to export product short description

        // Get the product object

        return $short_description;
    }
}
add_shortcode('export_short_description_elsewhere', 'custom_code_export_short_description_elsewhere');

    Then you can place the following shortcode in another place on your product page. The shortcode will export the product’s short description
    [export_short_description_elsewhere]

    Hi Rose Tyler,

    That is awesome news.
    I see that the new version was just pushed. I updated it now. You can enter whenever you have the time to remake the fix ( it’s not urgent as i will work around it for now with the piece of mind knowing that it was not affecting other ajax functionalities of the shop without me knowing )

    Thank you i tested and now it’s ok

    Can you give me more details about what you did please?
    Did you change something in the settings that i did not know about? Was this a bug in general or was it something specifically to my site that was causing the issue?
    Will this be something that will be overwritten by future updates of the theme or ?

    I ask because i have 3 licenses purchased, because i want to use your theme on other sites in the near future and i want to know if i need to look for a specific setting or what to do on the future websites

    I would like to note that this mostly happens on 404 pages and Search result pages
    On the homepage or other places it loads the elementor widgets fine
    HOWEVER i have had this happen sometimes on the homepage too, yet rarely. Thank you

    Hi Rose,

    Thank you. Replacing the js file fixed the issue.
    It’s really not ideal because now when i click on the number of reviews it scrolls to the reviews section and it opens the accordion. Normally because the accordion with the reviews was already opened at page load it should just scroll to it. Now during the scroll it closes it like before but at least when i reaches the section it opens it again 🙂
    It creates an odd animation due to this but at least it works 🙂 Perhaps for the future theme update the fix can be fixed further. I am happy to test a new file version if you need.

    Hi,
    That popup is for the website’s http password because it is curently under development
    i added the user and password in the private area in the original post
    i added them in the private content in this reply too

    PS: I added the code you suggested using the code snippets plugin but it created a fatal error

    If you go in the theme settings under breadcrumbs you will notice that there is no option to even change the breadcrum separator ( like it is under the breadcrumbs settings for product pages ).
    so definitely something is not right

    Hello, Yes unfortunately it is available in the demos too
    Here is a quick test:
    Go to this shop page here:
    https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/niche-market04/shop/
    Open the mobile menu and click on an area where an add to cart button is preset, example from my phone: https://prnt.sc/9bh14hGHSl0n
    You will notice that once clicked the menu will close but it will also trigger the add to cart button

    Before, when i created the original post the problem was much more present. It was indeed fixed in many instances but some situations like the one on the shop remain. During some browsing i also noticed it was click on some links on the page if i were to click on an area where a link was present

    Hi. Another update
    Clearing all the temp files and cookies for the browsers fixed the issue.
    So i think this happens when a new update is installed for either xstore or elementor.
    I noticed a lot of similar topics on the form on this subject
    I think this should be pinned in the FAQ or something
    I will update you in case anything changes but for now everything seems to be ok

    An update, because it worked for you i decided to testing using a different browser
    I was using Firefox
    Now i tested with Chrome and it is working

    I logged in remotely to my office computer and i did the same test using Firefox and Chrome and I had the same result with Firefox it was not working, with Chrome it was working

    Could you perhaps do a test yourself using Firefox to see if you have the same issue?

    I am using windows 10, in case it matters ( perhps you are using MAC so it might matter in this case )

    If you want i can also create a staging copy of the site but you will have to use your own license to activate the theme i think
    To test, go to pages and try to edit with elementor .. it will be stuck on the loaidng screen

    Then try to disable all plugins, except woocommerce and xstore core plugin , the problem will persist

    Then disable xstore core and the problem will be fixed

    Hi,
    When I said “issue” i did not mean “bug” …
    I guess “problem” was a more appropriate word
    And I have explained why it is very important google fonts are loaded locally and not from google’s servers: because of legal reasons, due to GDPR rules.

    People are already getting sued over this

    Example : https://www.theregister.com/2022/01/31/website_fine_google_fonts_gdpr/

    A website was fined by court because of this

    This needs to be fixed and allow users to select to push the fonts locally or not. Downloading the fonts and manually uploading them is not a good fix to the problem at hand.
