Regarding linked variations, unfortunately, it is not possible to combine linked variations with variable products. Each product used in linked variations must be a simple product.

If you would like to create the following linked variations:

Variations:

– Red T-shirt
Sizes: S, M, L, XL

You will need to create the following simple products:

– Black T-shirt – S
– Black T-shirt – M
– Black T-shirt – L

– Blue T-shirt – S
– Blue T-shirt – M

– Red T-shirt – S
– Red T-shirt – M
– Red T-shirt – L
– Red T-shirt – XL

In total, you will have 9 simple products, which can then be linked together using the linked variations feature.

2) Regarding the change in the appearance of products on the variations page – this behavior occurs because an image has been set for the variation, but not for the main product. Please ensure that a main product image is assigned, and the issue should be resolved.
