Problem with qTranslate could be related to its version, as we can see plugin author did not release new updates too long. So, check the other plugins https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-multilang/ , https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpglobus/ if they will suit your needs.
Our theme is translation ready and it’s 100% compatible with the most popular plugins like WPML and Polylang, but we can’t test our theme with all the available WordPress plugins, hope you understand. Users search additional plugins by themself because every site owner has his own requirements.
