    Hello, @MAHDAR,

    The message “Avoid an excessive DOM size” is a common site speed issue that can impact the performance of your website. When there are too many elements in the DOM (Document Object Model), it can slow down the rendering of the page and increase the time it takes for the page to become interactive.

    To address this issue, here are a few suggestions:

    1. Use server-side rendering (SSR) or client-side rendering (CSR): Consider using SSR or CSR techniques to avoid having to load too many elements on the page at once. SSR will render the page on the server and then send the fully rendered page to the client, while CSR will render the page on the client-side after the initial page load.

    2. Lazy loading: Implement lazy loading techniques for images and other non-critical elements on the page. This will ensure that these elements are only loaded when the user scrolls to them, reducing the initial load time of the page.

    3. Split content into multiple pages: If you have a lot of content on a single page, consider breaking it up into multiple pages. This can help reduce the number of elements on each page, improving site speed.

    4. Optimize your code: Optimize your HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code by minimizing the use of unnecessary code and removing any code that is no longer needed.

    By implementing these suggestions, you should be able to reduce the number of elements in the DOM and improve the performance of your website.

    Please read our theme documentation on the Speed of the site here: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-speed-up-my-website/ & https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-improve-wp-rocket-settings-with-xstore/

    Kind Regards,
    8Themes Team.

    Hello, @Restorialifee,

    We kindly request that you check the issue by activating the default WordPress Theme, such as Twenty Twenty-Three, to ensure that the issue is not related to our theme. If the issue persists with the default WordPress Theme, it will confirm that the issue is not due to our theme and we suggest that you reach out to Plugin support for further assistance. If the issue is resolved with the default WordPress Theme, it should also be resolved with our theme.

    If the issue does not persist with the default WordPress theme then we suggest disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins) that do not come bundled with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/), clearing the cache of the browser, and then checking again. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the issue.

    If the issue still persists, please keep all third-party plugins deactivated on your site and grant permission to debug your site, which includes deactivating all third-party plugins and on-site Customization. This will allow us to investigate and assist you accordingly.

    Please note that you should take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

    In addition, please provide your site’s WP Admin URL and credentials in the private content area of this topic, so that we can look into it further:

    WP Admin URL:
    WP Admin Username:

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Hello @gifts,

    We have identified that the WooCommerce TM Extra Product Options plugin is causing an issue on your site. We have deactivated the plugin and the issue has been resolved.

    As this is a third-party plugin, it appears that the issue is with WooCommerce. We suggest that you try activating the default WordPress Theme (e.g. Twenty Twenty-Three) to confirm that the issue is not with our theme. If the issue persists with the default WordPress Theme, then it is not due to our theme and we recommend that you contact the plugin support for further assistance.

    Hello Marta,

    Just for info, custom CSS can be added in a few different places:

    1/ Theme Options -> Theme Custom CSS -> Global CSS (saved in the database)

    2/ Customizer (Theme Options) -> Additional CSS (saved in the database)

    3/ xstore-child/style.css (saved in a file)

    The difference between our Theme Custom CSS and Additional CSS is in the fact that if you want to import/export settings then Theme Custom CSS will be included in the export file but Additional CSS won’t be because it is in the separate tables in the database and not included by default on export.

    Hope this clears your thoughts now.

    Kind Regards,
    8Themes Team.

    Hello, @PR,

    The shop page is a catalog page for products that cannot be edited using Elementor by default. You can find the available settings in Theme Options > WooCommerce (Shop).

    If you are using Elementor Pro, please refer to the plugin documentation for instructions on how to edit the shop page: https://elementor.com/help/creating-a-woocommerce-archive-template/

    However, if you want to add more advanced filters or customizations to the shop page, you may need to use third-party plugins at your own risk or custom development.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team.

    Hello, Steven Tay,

    1,3. Please copy and paste the following CSS code to XStore >> Theme Options >> Theme Custom CSS >> Global CSS. After clearing the browser cache, the result should look like the image provided (https://postimg.cc/xNk4Pm7G). You can adjust the values in the code as needed.

    .woocommerce-account .wcfmmp_become_vendor_link a {
        font-size: 20px !important;
        color: #fff !important;
    }
    .woocommerce-account .wcfmmp_become_vendor_link {
        background-color: #000 !important;
        border: 1px solid #000 !important;
        border-radius: 20px !important;
        padding-top: 5px !important;
        padding-bottom: 5px !important;
        text-align: center !important;
    }

    2. If you want to change that word or translate it, you have to change/translate it into the multivendor plugin language files which you are using on your site, you can use the loco translate the plugin to translate it.

    We hope this helps.

    We suggest that you disable the Mobile Content Optimization option (Theme Options > General) if you are using a cache plugin for mobile devices, as both optimization options can conflict with each other.

    Hello @ianbarker24,

    We are delighted to hear that you were able to resolve the issue on your own. You are truly remarkable!

    Thank you for letting me know that you’ll be looking into the articles about Elementor 500 errors to try and fix the issue with Jetpack. While Jetpack may not be one of my recommended plugins, we understand that it is important for your website’s security and access to the WooCommerce app.

    It’s great to hear that Jetpack works fine with the theme when using WPBakery instead of Elementor. It’s possible that the issue with Jetpack is related to the compatibility between Elementor and the plugin.

    If you need any further assistance or have any questions, feel free to ask. we are here to help you with any theme queries you might have.

    Hello, @thorth219,

    Thank you for choosing XStore as your WooCommerce WordPress theme.

    It sounds like you are having an issue with your custom CSS not working as expected when you switch the default language on your website.

    One reason this might be happening is because your CSS selectors are language-specific, and when you switch to a different language, the selector is no longer targeting the correct element.

    To fix this, you can try adding a language-specific class to your selector. For example:

    .lang-en .filter-wrap div.filter-content {
      display: none !important;
    }

    This will ensure that your CSS only targets the filter-content element when the website language is set to English. You can replace lang-en with the appropriate class for the language you are targeting.

    If this doesn’t work, try using browser developer tools to inspect the elements and ensure that your CSS selector is targeting the correct element.

    Alternatively, please share your site WP Admin URL and Credentials with us under the private content area of this topic, so that we will further look into it for you on your site and help you out.

    Best Regards,
