I’ve checked this issue with standard Sale products widget and official WooCommerce theme – Storefront, there is the same situation http://prntscr.com/esqs80 http://prntscr.com/esqs44. We’ll be able to help you only in case problem appears with our theme only and works fine with official WC theme Storefront.
Please note, compatibility of our theme with WooCommerce 3.0 will be added in a new theme update. Don’t update WooCommerce plugin before theme update.

You are right. If you have already updated it, please, downgrade WC plugin version or wait for the next theme update.
Also, before update any plugin you need to be sure that theme and other plugins that you use are compatible with the new version.

In this case, you can try to delete new version of this plugin and install previous one. If it don’t help, you need to wait for new theme update, for Royal it will be realized in a few day.

You can edit files /wp-content/themes/legenda/woocommerce/content-single-product.php and framework/woo.php.
We recommend you to make changes in a child theme.
