Remove default parallax image in Florence

I’ve been through the tutorials and seemingly every menu and have not been able to figure out how to remove the default parallax image. Adding a featured image only puts one directly beneath the default image.

It is also not editable through visual composer, nor does there seem to be a design options tab in that row on the back end to delete it.
