The emtpy cart issue is not related to the Redirect to the cart page after successful addition setting.

/wp-content/plugins/et-core-plugin/packages/st-woo-swatches/public/js/frontend.min.js

Please be aware that these changes will be overwritten when the XStore Core plugin is updated in the future. We recommend keeping this in mind for any upcoming updates.
