    Hi,

Trying to switch to the Elementor builder for SSP, and importing a template (example: https://imgur.com/HwPONRt) we get a page consisting of 2 sections (structure panel) but no content whatsoever. I would think the template would at least pick up an example product or show the layout of the template, but the content screen is completely empty.
Can you plz have a look and see what might cause this?

On our end, it looks te same. Thats the problem. No arrows. Please try to use the thumbnail slider to scroll to images 5, 6 and 7.
    You can’t

    Hi Rose,

The fix seems to box and limit the vertical thumbnails to 4.
However, the arrows to scroll and provide access to images 5, 6, 7, etc are gone. Ultimately, this won’t work as we need the ability to show all the product images as intended.
The CSS fixes the display malfunction but doesn’t address the root cause….

    Hi Tony,

Thanks. This answers my question about the absence of a setting within the Xstore customizer for this particular button, I guess?

    Hi Rose,

    Thanks for the guidance.
The video link narrates a pretty oud-dated version of the variation swatches I think, considering today’s panel: https://imgur.com/CHDMrTP
Will there be an updated version of the vid anytime soon?

    Cheers,
    Bas

    There’s been a misunderstanding.
The text is a self-added static block.
I’m talking about the standard site-logo: https://imgur.com/mkiDoso in the middle of the header

I’m guessing it would be something like:

    .woocommerce-cart .et_b_header-logo-img, .woocommerce-checkout .et_b_header-logo-img {
    pointer-events: none;
    }

    ?

    Doesn’t seem to work, unfortunately.

Site logo on URLS in private section still clickable, referring to home page.
Code implemented in Global CSS: https://imgur.com/xaolDvl per your instructions.
    Caching problem?

Please understand that the B2B website is our production site. Not knowing what the impact will be of the removed CSS values, we need to keep track of those changes.
Please advise on when you’re about the remove the values, and what specific custom CSS values we’re talking about.

The B2B website has yet to be launched, so timing is less of an issue.

    Hello Andrew,

Since we’ve got many things going on, I need to schedule a maintenance window to manage the suggested actions.
Does 3 PM CEST fit your schedule?
Can you forward a list of the custom CSS values you’re talking about?

Also, please be aware that we have 2 websites running (URLs in private) so we probably need to implement the changes twice. Please advise on time needed.

    Cheers,

    Hi Rose,

Thank you for the quick reply.
I’ve noticed that our copy lacks the animated headline (underline) for the “XStore Collections” title. Is this probably a plugin (setting)?

    Hi Andrew,

I’m sorry, but this gives me nothing.
Are you telling me that, the entirety of the xstore support team is not able to tell their paying customers what specific version of wordpress is 100% compatible with what specific version of xstore, in the history of your template builds?

I just need a viable roll-back as a guide, and we’ll take care of the rest

    Hi Jack,

your guess is as good as mine. Because we switched from WP Bakery to Elementor in the process, I’m not sure when this particular problem first occurred as a compatibility issue between Xstore and WordPress.

I was hoping that this was a documented issue affecting multiple users, subsequently providing historical insights as to the origins of the problem.

I would rely on your input to assign best practice version of the xcore towards being compatible with WordPress version 6.5.5

Any news btw on progress with the latest version of WP?

    Cheers,
    Bas

    Hi Andrew, Rose,

Our developers have rolled back WordPress to v6.5.5.
Unfortunately, the issue with the SPP product image slider persists.
It is extremely frustrating, as our SEO specialists have been put on hold for weeks now, waiting for us to resolve the issue. In the meantime, we still have to pay them.

What’s even more frustrating is that many websites we see utilize the latest (or at least very recent) version of wordpress with a latest (not even the last) version of xstore, with no problem. Is this an Elementor issue?
No new plugins have been added in the past several months, so no issues on that front.

    P.S.
How can we try a roll-back of xcore?

    Hi Andrew,

we never switched to anything else, but using the Xstore Single Product Builder. We think there might be an issue with some of the theme’s files (corruption) that’s causing the issue.

I’ve already provided access to the site’s panel, in the first post of this thread (private section).
The response is a bit disappointing, as we’ve addressed the issue and provided access days ago. The persisting issue is preventing us from pushing the website from staging to live…

    Video in private.

Also (this may be unrelated), the mobile version is also completely fumbled.

It should look like this (screenshot from customizer): https://imgur.com/bMayxF1
While in fact, on mobile (android) it looks like this: https://imgur.com/TZFgMuL (the images are placed in a column, no spaces in between pictures)

    Hi Rose,

I’m familiar with the intricacies of anchoring. However, we’re currently trying to get this to work within the Xstore General Tabs widget, with no effect.
Assigning an ID is pretty straight forward. Some how, these IDs are not triggered via de # link.
Can you plz have a look?

    Found it, never mind
(the particular element within Elementor Pro couldn’t facilitate a dynamic link, so we rebuilt the object using different elements)
