Problems with updating to WooPress 6.0.1

    I had major issues with updating WooPress to the 6.0.1 version, so I decided to try to make the updates on a staging url to see if I could figure out what was wrong. No luck. My problem is that all the customizations from the previous version of WooPress are gone (I’m getting WooPress logo instead of my custom logo, the cart icons in the upper right are gone, and font customization is gone, etc) and additionally I’m getting an error message of “Sorry you are not allowed to access this page” when I try to access Theme Options in the admin area.

    Hello,

    Provide us also with FTP access to your staging site. Did you make any changes directly in parent theme files?

    I did not make any changes directly in the parent theme files. Everything was done either in the Theme Options panel or in the child theme. SFTP credentials included in the private content area:

    Hello,

    Theme Options framework was changed to Redux instead of Option Tree, so Redux and CMB2 plugins should be installed on your site http://prntscr.com/pdpdh9 (Appearance > Install plugins)

    Ah… ok thanks. Those additional plugins weren’t immediately apparent in the update alert. Thanks for pointing them out to me. Everything seems to look fine in chrome, but in Safari much of the text (menu, body text, breadcrumbs) displays in the wrong font. Looking in Safari’s web inspector, the offending issue seems to be font-family:opensans; — as opposed to font-family: ‘Open Sans’; Not sure what happened there, but I’ll see if I can’t go in and fix that issue myself. If I run into any trouble I’ll reach back out.

    Actually, I found one other issue. There seems to be a conflict with WooPress core and WooCommerce’s Customer/Order Export plugin:

    Seems you change the Dashboard and FTP access to your site and we can’t log in and check.
    Please, provide the correct access to allow us to check the problem and fix if it’s related to our theme.

    Hello,

    1) Go to Theme Options > Typography > and re-select Font Family – http://prntscr.com/peqd6f
    2) Do you have the problem with our theme only or with Storefront (default WC theme) too? What SkyVerge says about the problem with their plugin?

    Thanks for that. The customer/order export issue ended up being an issue on SkyVerge’s end with their Legacy CSV Format option for exports. They made a note of it to the developers, but I just switched to a different format and exports worked normally after that. Since the error was referencing a call to undefined function in woopress core I thought the issue might be there, but nope. Thanks so much for all your help. I think everything is resolved at this point!
