    Hi,
I need help with speed optimization. We have problems with TTFB (sometimes up to 9 seconds). The problem is not with hosting because we have the same sympthome on localhost. TTFB should be brought down because the site loads extremely slowly. We need someone from the support team who knows the template and can tune the caching or fix the speed a bit. We have seen some topics and see that there is a known issue with Xstore. Unfortunately we did not find a solution. Refund is not an option for us because we have already worked too much with the site and want to go online in a short time. So we don’t have enough time to install and customize another template. Please for your support. A Login credentials for WP-admin, FTP or hosting provider account is possible as required. We use Lingerie Demo. Our site is so slow since demo import. Everything worked great before the demo.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

It seems that you have not the latest version of XStore Theme and XStore Core plugin -> https://prnt.sc/jtLek53k93II . Please, update to the latest versions first https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/63-theme-update https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/37-plugins-update
For now, we did + can recommend you few tasks to improve your site speed:
1/ We disabled this option in Revolution Slider plugin -> Globals settings -> https://prnt.sc/ix8DAa48BrMk (if the option is enabled they load their script everywhere but for real it is needed only in cases slider exists on that page it is shown)
2/ We would recommend you to enable our Built-in Wishlist (Theme Settings -> WooCommerce) and disable YITH Wishlist plugin (which also loads extra font-awesome icons font and it slow down site speed)
3/ You may check your images and reupload them with correct formats and sizes. Example: Your main slider image is in png format and it’s weight is almost 500kb -> https://prnt.sc/1-Zy4gwLpn05 . We would recommend you to use jpeg format of this image and minify it using https://tinypng.com/ or another resource for image optimization. This image in JPEG format weights already (almost 1/2 of png formated) -> 233kb and after it is tinified -> https://prnt.sc/PgMec06LgbNS . Comparison screenshot -> https://prnt.sc/oN0zJmfH9h8s . 139kb vs 499kb but no visual difference. Another example: you have images 800×800 with 53kb weight -> https://prnt.sc/YSfFWhzyUnyn but the real size which could be used here is 400×400 or about that size -> https://prnt.sc/lUlCOTVi5T7B (because it is scaled up to 250px). If you disable maintenance mode and test your web-site on https://gtmetrix.com/ (for example), you will see some tips which will help you to improve your site speed loading -> https://prnt.sc/p9QKuqLo9dF8 , https://tools.pingdom.com/

That was really a great analysis. I’ve used most of the tips and suggestions, the site has become a bit faster. Then, following the advice of gtmetrix.com, I installed WP-Rocket and registered Cloudflare. For the time being I took the free version of Cloudflare. Later I will probably buy the premium version or the WP Rocket CDN. I also activated Varnish caching on my hosting. I have already reduced TTBT from 8.8 seconds to 1.3 seconds.

    Pros:
The site is much faster for users and has better points on gtmetrix. This helps to get a better ranking on Google.

    Cons:
The changes are sometimes only visible after empty cache
Dashboard is still quite slow (this only bothers the admin)

If you would take a moment to look at the website and give me more tips, I and everyone who is struggling with the same problem would be very grateful.

If I mentioned unwanted ads for other plugins or services in my post, you can censor the tags/words.

    Regards

    Hello,

The speed of the Dashboard is independent of our theme. Maybe support of wp rocket plugin or your hosting provider will be able to help you with this.

Check descriptions of all plugins that are activated on your site and disable plugins you do not really use because every additional plugin slows down the site a bit.
For example, you are using Variation Swatches for WooCommerce and Additional Variation Images Gallery for WooCommerce , but our theme already has Variation swatches functionality – https://youtu.be/LgzC4iK-j6A , and Variation gallery can be activated via Theme Options. If you decide to use it from plugins, disable our variation swatches via Theme options.

If all changes in site content already done, go to Theme options > Speed optimization > enable “Static Blocks Cache” and “Remove Query Strings From Theme Static Resources” and test the speed. If there is no improvement, you can disable the options back.

You are using Slider Revolution, so read their article also – https://www.sliderrevolution.com/tutorials/optimizing-load-speed-and-performance/

Did you test the site here – https://tools.pingdom.com/ when the maintenance mode is disabled? Provide URL with results or screenhot of results (for example – https://prnt.sc/mTrtVZbKh1Bd ) via the Private Content area here, so we can take a closer look.

You may also check Site health (WordPress built-in feature) -> https://prnt.sc/vrTbGIf8X8a5

Analyze each of your plugins with enabling/disabling them one by one and find out which one is making the most slow speed of the dashboard. As I see from the first inspection of any dashboard page and with dev tools -> https://prnt.sc/KJur7S50udf7 . As you see each file takes some time to load and maybe you will find some plugins not so useful or replacable with simple ones. For example: We have our own Slider element for WPBakery builder and Slides widget for Elementor builder -> https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/slides-element/

Read some documentation about speed up WordPress.
For this time that is all that we could recommend you to speed up from my own experience. Also, you should keep your content speedy by preventing big images, long DOM content elements etc.

in the end i got a very good ranking on gtmetrix. The biggest problem though was the hosting provider. With the migration to another hosting, the page including dashboard etc. is 4x faster. So the topic can be closed. Thank you for the amazing support!
