I left the default header for ordinary pages. i duplicated that and renamed the duplicate for Front Page Header and assigned that to only the front page.

Then, I duplicated the default header again and renamed that Single Product Page header and assigned that to ‘All Products’. I want the Single Product header to look like the About Us and other ordinary page headers which have a background assigned to them. I edited the Single Product Page header and turned off Overlap. However, there is no setting to set the complete header background image. How do I do this? Can you help? it is no where in the instruction video you sent. This is the whole point in my query. I need the Single Product page header to look like About, COntact, Shop header etc. I cannot understand why it was not already?

    Hello again

For the site width… I just reimported the Niche Market demo again, and now see that the Site Width is actually set to 1770 in the SIte layout for Niche Market, so will apply that width to my Plumbing dev site. Please ignore the question regarding width. I just need to know how to restore the header for the Single Product layout page, please?

    Please see private area.

You will notice that the width of the link to the product page I provided is wider than the width of the Niche Market demo that I am taking the single product page layout from. Not sure where those settings are. I know there is a tab that allows you to turn on Wide layout in

Single Product Page Settings > Layout > Full Width Layout = OFF

This is turned off for both the original Niche Market demo site and the Plumbing dev site I am working on.

I noticed that in both the Niche Market, and my dev site, in

Customerizer > General / Layout > Site Layout = Wide Layout

    and

    Customerizer > General / Layout > Site Width = 1170
    .

These settings are the same for both, but the width of the single product page is not the same. Some other setting that was in play before turning on Single Product layout is having an effect that is now not visible now that Single Product Layout is in force on the dev site.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I did not know I got a reply. I had already deleted the bundled plugin and reverted to the one I was previously using, so I will go ahead and close this ticket.

    Hello Olga

I can see from your screenshot, that you did not have a product specified in your setting popup, hence you are not seeing the problem. To see the problem I saw, there needs to be a product specified under Source > Product in the settings after an import of the Bathroom demo.

It has taken me a long time and a lot of trying different things, but I worked out the set of steps needed to recreate the problem. I do not give up so easily.

    1) Import XStore bathroom demo.
    2) Delete imported products before editing Home Page.
    3) Edit Home Page
    4) Edit one of the three existing Product WPBakery elements (Massive Addons). This will cause the popup settings window to hang.

The only way you are going to recreate the problem is if you delete the demo products before changing the setting to point to a new product you actually wish to sell.

The second problem is that adding a new element of type Product from Massive Addons, without setting any product and then saving can cause a WordPress critical error when saving the page.

To get around the first problem, I followed these steps.

    1) Fresh import XStore Bathroom demo with the products also imported.
    2) Create a product or products you actually wish to sell.
    3) Do not delete imported products, and edit the Home Page.
    4) Edit one of the three existing Product WPBakery elements (Massive Addons).
    5) Change the Product setting to point to your own product.
    6) Save the Home Page.
    7) Now you can delete the imported products during the Bathroom demo import.

Whilst this workaround fixed my problem, it remains that the Massive Addons plugin still has a problem that should be addressed.

Can you please confirm if you are able to recreate the issue on your end following my steps?

If you are unable to recreate the problem, and you still need login credentials to my development site to see the problem, please let me know?

Note, that I did reload the page and try again many times. I refreshed the browser cache and the Cloudflare cache. I tried bypassing Cloudflare, to eliminate that. I updated WPBakery to v6.5. I’ve been trying different things for over two days now on this problem.
If WordPress is emailing me specifically when I add the Product element, then I suspect its a problem with Massive Addons, given the aforementioned error I posted.

    Hi Olga

    Thanks for responding.

I tried adding the Massive elements, Product, to another site. When I do, the site send my admin email address a warning.

    Hi!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Massive Addons for WPBakery Page Builder.

First, visit your website (https://mydomain.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://mydomain.com/wp-admin/post.php) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can't access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special "recovery mode". This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

    https://mydomain.com/wp-login.php?itsec-hb-token=wplogin&action=enter_recovery_mode&rm_token=OnX43IG7TXzlvzuO5r4fOL&rm_key=NvRUHsrcb5ntGHXoI8YND6

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don't worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 5.6
Current theme: Xstore Child (version 0.0.1) Current plugin: Massive Addons for WPBakery Page Builder (version 2.4.7) PHP version 7.4.13

OK, so I have worked out from another site, that the Portfolio page is actually a blank page when editing it, but the page, when viewed on the browser, is automatically filled with portfolio projects when added. The tabs are also automatically created when you create Portfolio Categories. This now makes sense. Now I understand how it works, I’ll go ahead and close this thread.

Note – the page import also not working for this portfolio page:

    https://xstore.8theme.com/demos/marketing/portfolio/

results in the same error as mentioned previously.

I updated from XStore v7.1.3 to v7.2 just now, but still get the same errors.

OK, I found out that I had previously had two Shop pages and when I deleted one, the other was not set in WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Product Page = SHOP.

The Shop heading now appears that I have set that to the current Shop page.

I’ll go ahead and close this ticket.

Just seen Rose’s reply, will try.

*edit* I restored the site to before the update. I then updated the theme before updating core and didn’t have a problem this time. I had the problem last time updating core first. Just in case others have the same issue, please update the theme before core.

I also had a problem when I updated to v7.1. The header was not as wide as before and my menu squashed onto two lines instead of one. Also, the background colour of my footer area changed. Note, I updated both the theme and core and refreshed all caches. This latest update to v7.1 has issues that need addressing.

    Hi Olga

Thank you very much. I exported the decor and scissor icon from the logo layer and imported those into Illustrator and used the Arvo typeface at 30pt bold. That did the trick. I’ll find vector versions of the icon and decor tomorrow, rather than the raster images in the PSD. Then I can resize better. Logos should always be produced in a vector-based graphics application, not Photoshop.

    Hi @shivangtools

New install or not working after an update? More background info may be needed for the support team to help. Just suggesting in advance of them responding to you. Makes things quicker to state everything they need to know in advance.

    Hi Olga

No apologies needed. It’s easy to misunderstand text communications.

Yes, I see the settings now. I changed the logo, the Xstore text and the icon, and it works fantastically. It’s a great feature for me. Perfect! ?

Thank you ever so much ?

    Hi Hung The

Thanks for responding. The question I have asked does not require someone to view or log into my site. I am asking where the settings are for the White Label Branding plugin? There is no documentation for this on the XStore documentation website, and I can’t see where to configure the white label plugin? All I am asking for is for someone to tell me where the settings are in the WordPress admin?

    Hi Olga

I waited for the update in the end. XStore v6.3.3 was released earlier and that has provided the solution.

Thanks ever so much! ?? ?

I’ll check out the Taskboard at some point. ??

It’s working now. the button style should have been set to custom and
Button background color set to red
and Button background color (hover) set to a slightly different red. It was on default before.

    Please close ticket.

    Hi Olga

I will use vector-based icons from Flaticon and other sites and export as png for now. Figma looks interesting, but maybe useful for teams to collaborate.

    Thanks for the advice.

    Sorry to bother you again.

When I add a product that has square product images and does not have a white background, I can see a lot of white padding above and below the main image on the single product page. I’d like to know where to delete this extra white space? The space is between the product image and the 2px border, but only on the top and bottom borders, not the side borders.

Removing the curved corners by taking away the code for this does not remove the white padding.

    removing this doesn’t do it: border-radius: 20px;

Looked everywhere for padding settings in the Single Product Builder, but can’t see it.

    Hi again

I managed to recreate the text of the logo in Adobe Illustrator very quickly. For those who might be interested, top line of text is created with these font settings:-

    “green” = Exo 2 – Light, 40.17 pt. Character… VA <> 0

    “IDEAS” = Exo 2 – Bold, 40.17 pt. Character… VA <> 0

    “THE FUTURE IS TODAY” = Exo 2 – Light, 16 pt. Character… VA <> 183

Just in case anyone wants to know.

Please go ahead and close this ticket.

    Hi Olga

Thanks for explaining. I managed to get the results I wanted by making the background to the top bar transparent. There seemed to be a slight glitch doing this, but I had a workaround. Initially, I deleted the top bar background colour and saved. Since the front page had a separate header layout, I had to do this using multiple layouts and alter the home page layout. When I deleted the background in the multiple layouts, and saved the transparent background, it did not stay saved, and reverted to the white background colour. Instead, all I could to was use RGB colurs to make it white but fully transparent to get around this. This appears to be a bug in the header builder.

I had to use this colour to create transparency: rgba(255,255,255,0)

The save for the General layout did work though, just the save for the separate Home page in multiple layouts did not work.

    An additional thing I noticed…

The Home page header is different from the other pages. It has a rev slider with header overlap turned on for just the home page. There is no setting to make the header overlap for Top Header as well as Main header. It is just assumed that the top header would not need to be overlapped.

Also, it occurred to me that because I am not using Bottom header, then maybe I could shift the Main Header components down to Bottom header and then shift the Top header Connection Blocks to Main Header, then turn off Main Header and maybe this would work for me. I’ll backup the site and give it a go. I’ll have to put aside some time to do this.
