Sorry, but as I said before, this is not possible to use on portfolio image such zoom as on products, it is possible only as a paid service since additional development is out of theme support scope.

Product category page inherits layout of shop page, so you may enable sidebar http://prntscr.com/gfpfti and add needed widgets in Appearance > Widgets > Shop Sidebar or in Additional Shop Widget area.

Before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/woopress/ to avoid problems with old files.
Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process!
You need to enter your purchase code to activate our new theme version and skip Setup Wizard.
Also, update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/

Note that you may use the 1 license for the 1 dev domain and 1 live domain. So you may use your purchase code on the development site. But keep in mind that you can use our theme license for 1 end product only.

I am not sure, it is a strange situation, and very likely it doesn’t relate to our theme. You may check this situation with Storefront theme (official WC theme). We are able to help you only in case problem appears with our theme only (and we can see this problem on your site) and works fine with official WC theme.
