You can try to use some third-party plugin to implement such functionality.
Also you can contact with WooCommerce support team and their specialists will look into this issue more deeply.

To show brands in Shop Sidebar you need create Static Block with Brands element and put into Shop Sidebar in Appearance -> Widgets.

Also you need update theme to the latest version.
Don’t forget to make backup your site before updating.

1) To change font size please add this code into custom.css file.

.languages-area .textwidget{ font-size:18px; }

2)To set background for breadcrumbs please navigate to Theme Options->Header->and select Breadcrumbs background.
