    Hello,
I have installed IDStore with Woocommerce and I want to add a Revolution Slider slider under the main header (which includes the logo and the main navigation) of the Woocommerce Shop page, which is also my home page.

I cannot figure out how to do it after spending some hours. If I put the Rev Slider shortcode it does not work.

    I have also read in https://www.8theme.com/topic/placing-revolution-slider-behind-the-menu-like-in-demo/ :

“You can add Revolution Slider yourself in Pages > select your home page to edit and in Page Layout box on the right side you’ll see the field “Show revolution slider instead of breadcrumbs and page title” and select a slider from drop down box.”

But in my case, the Layout box only shows SideBar Position and Widget Area dropdown menus. Nothing at all called “Show revolution slider…”.

What am I missing? Please, help.

    Thanks

    Hello,

To have slider shown on products categories pages you need add slider shortcode in a category description box in Products > Categories > edit a category > Description.

    Thank you.

    Hello Eva,
following your instructions I can add a slider per category page, meaning I have to add a slider per each category I have. Besides, the slider is added not under the header with the same width as the header but sharing the full main wrapper width whit the sidebar.

This is not what I’ve asked help for.
Please refer to the samples here:
    http://themeforest.net/item/idstore-responsive-multipurpose-ecommerce-theme/full_screen_preview/4792186

to see what I’m trying to achieve, i.e, 1 Rev Slider in the Home page, under the header and sticky to it, both with the same width, being the home page the Woocommerce Shop page.

    Thanks-

    Ok.
Now I’ve changed the Home page from being the Shop page to being a simple “normal” sample page. And I still cannot see the “Show revolution slider instead of breadcrumbs and page title” in the Layout box.

My request for help still stands. I don’t know how to put a Revolution Slider slider like in the home page from here:

    http://themeforest.net/item/idstore-responsive-multipurpose-ecommerce-theme/full_screen_preview/4792186

    Thanks again.

    Hello,

“Show revolution slider instead of breadcrumbs and page title” isn’t related to IDStore theme, but to other themes.
As you use Shop page as your home page there is no possibility to add slider.
If you want you can create a separate page, add slider shortcode in there and make it your front page in Settings > Reading.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
