The answer of the plugin supports is a bit difficult, but i think they mean i can use the hook or ?

“We use these hooks and in the tracking info customizer you can choose which hook to display the tracking info (before or after order details)
Make sure that the tracking info is included in order status email in the shipment tracking settings.”

We add the tracking info to the Before order details hook. You just need to make sure that this hook exists.
